Food: Very carinderia type of food. Sobrang bland ng lasa at very obvious na reheat na. Service: Napakabastos and unfriendly ng mga staff. Our family was approached by this lesbian server saying that our payment is "kulang pa" when we said how much and why was it kulang because everything has been paid he computed the number of kids, adults and seniors that we had in our family and claiming that we are lacking 163 pa, please Note that this is in very uncfriendly manner na parang may utang talaga kami ang were trying to run from it, Hello we haven't even gone to the buffet table and it took us few minutes dahil wala silang enough parking space for cars we had to look ourselves for a parking space across the street pa. Okay we paid 163 no questions asked just to save the trouble kasi the approach was very rude. My husband infact was very iritated na with her tone but we do not want to ruin the moment because it's my bros inlaws birthday. But here again after few minutes from across the hallway when we were finally eating sasabihin nanaman na the our baby needs to be charge din (very rude voice and approach again). my mom inlaw asked me if the baby is already 2ft and I answered "I don't think so".. The lesbian server again on a loud voice told my mom inlaw "Naku siguruhin nyo ah. Sukatin nyo muna dun!" while pointing to the height chart near the entrance door. My husband then heard this and said. "Wag na, babayaran ko na magkano ba?" and so we paid na lang. Grabe is this really how you treat your customers Tramway, Timog branch?! Wala manlang common courtesy even when we were still eating 2:30pm pa lang and we're supposed to be out by 3:15pm. 1:30pm na kami nakastart din ng kain because of all hassle we've been through with your staffs and your parking area. I understand it's a cheap resto buffet but cmon you shouldn't compromise the quality of the food and most especially your staffs! Trained them with courtesy and customer service. Never again and I'll make sure to spread a word about this very unpleasant experience. Athmosphere: The restrooms are so dirty and the mens restrooms as per my husband were so...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience at Tramway Restaurant's Spring Function Room. We requested a knife, but the waitress informed us that it would incur an additional charge, so we had to use a fork to cut the cake. This is the first buffet restaurant we've encountered that there's a charge for using their knife.
The Spring Function Room is extremely small and doesn't comfortably fit 24 people. We were cramped and unable to move without bumping into each other. Initially, our request to use the space outside the function room near the washroom was denied, causing us unnecessary stress. Eventually, they allowed it, but only after realizing our uncomfortable situation.
The air conditioning in the Spring Function Room was inadequate and made the room uncomfortably warm. We noticed other reviews mentioning similar issues with the air conditioning.
Additionally, the staff seemed to be in a hurry as soon as it reached 8:30 PM. They kept reminding us of the time and started clearing plates, glasses, and cutlery from the tables while our event was still ongoing, which was quite disruptive.
The P1500 charge for the function room was too expensive, especially since other buffets offer free function rooms for groups of more than 15 people. The Spring Function Room did not provide any special added services, making it feel like we were just having our event outside the function room. In hindsight, we should have celebrated in the main dining area due to the air conditioning issues and the cramped space in the Spring Function Room.
Additionally, please change your payment rules for the function room. Requiring full payment for the function room plus full payment for all guests at the time of reservation shows how strict your rules are. That's not a reservation fee; that's paying all the bills before the event has even started.
While the crew member handling our event was polite, it's clear she was just following the establishment's strict and unfriendly rules.
Overall, our experience at Tramway Restaurant was far from satisfactory, and we hope the management takes these issues seriously to improve...
Read moreBoom crowded this weekend. Friday payday. No reservation.
Sunday's Father's day and we wanted to avoid the crowd.
This is definitely well loved by Masang Pinoy. And for a good reason. Lots of food choices for just a small price to pay. No unli juice though, just water. We bought a liter of softdrink. I especially liked the steamed fish noodles kropek sushi coffee jelly and the small cakes, mocha chiffon. The fries are too salty though but I liked it lol.
They just don't accept PWD card, they need to check. Maybe because of the recent issues. Anyway pay first before eating, php 385? 2 hours.
The server assigned to us is polite. There is toilet also with soap and tissue.
I think the difference between here and Banawe is a noodle table.
There is an outer main dining hall. Then one inside and then another inner room. I guess they fill these 3 sections one by one as customers pour in.
One thing I noticed is that even though this was crowded this was not malangaw unlike in other places. I only saw one fly which was unfortunately, walking all over the icing of the pastry. Hey even in Vikings I saw a small roach- ah I guess it is hard to avoid those. Also another thing is some kids are blocking the salad area so other customers can't access it as they would not leave until the fries are refilled. If that isn't bad enough well they also stepped on the inner shelf on the table where the plates are placed. Maybe this can be avoided if there is a dedicated person manning the buffet spread. Alas all their crew are busy as a bee. Regarding parking we left our car a few stores away, in the...
