food was okay, not the worst, but price-wise could get better quality in other japanese restos.
•ramen was a bit bland, but appreciate the perfectly soft boiled egg and good noodles •takoyaki had a sort of ketchup mayo dip (?) not entirely sure, though you do get octopus in some pieces of 6 total •katsudon was okay, the option for dip with mayo and the tonkatsu sauce. okay with cabbage, but not the overpowering sauce they coat it with or would prefer for it to be set aside so i could mix the amount i want only •tempura and dip was okay though!
place was a bit packed when we went, service was subpar and staff looked a bit generally confused who was getting the orders or accommodating us. there was an order that was forgotten we had to follow up. there was a long wait time getting my receipt from a digital transaction error. otherwise, they’re respectful.
generally, food quality could be improved and a bit more training for staff.
the venue is a bit hidden, so unless you’re walking through the whole japanese hall of the top floor, it’s not really as noticeable. it’s a well designed space akin to...

I ordered two things which were the 🍛Katsudon and 🍤Shrimp Tempura
I actually enjoyed the Katsudon a lot more than I expected, the flavor was really good for the sauce and I could taste and feel the creaminess of the egg on top. Maybe it's just me but I really liked it, the meat could have been a bit thicker though, the breading unfortunately was as thick (if not thicker) than the actual meat as well
The Shrimp tempura was also good, the sauce was a bit on the saltier side than what I am used to but its okay, just add a little bit less.
Overall i was still extremely happy with the food
✅The place itself was also good as well, inside it looks like a japanese street food market or something haha, but felt very comfortable in there
✅The service was good as well, I did not have to spend much time waiting or calling a waiter/waitress over to grab my bill or anything, they packed my food in a timely manner as well at the end.

Read moreConcept restaurant that serves Japanese street food. It is located in Japan Town of Vertis North but this is particularly an eye candy. Prices can be steep in some parts of the menu but the bento set is a great deal. Tried the Sushi and Tempura box for Php380 and it comes with soup, house salad, and tofu slices. Tried the Gyu Yakitori, Sashimi, and Tempura Roll on the side. It is prepared on specific food kiosks resonating the stalls of Japan. Food is not as impressive as the ambiance yet service is fast making the the dining experience...
