Ah, Kimono Ken, you're like that neighbor you see every day but never really stop to chat with because they're always there.

Proximity breeds familiarity, they say, and boy, have we taken you for granted.

But amidst the hustle and bustle, you've remained a steady and familiar presence, beckoning us with the promise of a satisfying meal.

So here we are, reunited after eons, and what's changed? Not much, but hey, consistency is key, right?

You're still serving up that tantalizing blend of Japanese cuisine with a Filipino twist, keeping our taste buds on their toes and our wallets happy.

Now, about the service... Let's just say it's on Filipino time, but hey, who's counting minutes when you're lost in a sea of sushi dreams?

Despite the occasional hiccup, the food more than makes up for it, transporting us to a realm of culinary bliss.

In summary, Kimono Ken, you may be just a skip and a hop away, but you're a reliable companion on our culinary journey.

Here's to many more impromptu visits and savory...

It's a plus that it closes at 12am on weekends. Since we come at past 9pm, parking is not a problem. But I'm sure this is not the case during peak hours. The place itself has good interior. The restroom is clean.

Food here is really good aside from having an ample amount of serving at reasonable prices. The ebi tempura was all shrimp at every bite, unlike others which are more of batter. Its sauce was also very savory. The teppan (tried both beef & salmon) were also yummy. The kani salad was also a mountain of lettuce & kani, though it can use a bit more cucumber strips. The gohan was fluffy & soft juat the way I like it. I can eat it on its own.

We've been here twice. I know we will be back to try...

Japanese food cravings satisfied and Kimono Ken never disappoints!

We ate at their MOA branch several years ago, and glad that the atmosphere and quality were still the same.

They undeniably use quality and fresh ingredients (tempura and tuna sashimi were so good). We were also surprised by their quick cooking time— from the sushi, to the udon, and viands all only took 5 mins to be served! Clean place and nice staff too!

And about the parking, Kimono Ken has assigned their own parking attendant who also offers valet service. So sosyal! 😀

All I can say is that they treat their customers so well and we can’t wait to go back again soon. Definitely a day...

Sept 2023: First time in this branch 'coz we always eat at SM North Edsa. We ordered our favorites, Shoyu Ramen, Gyudon and Ebi Tempura. Overall, food here is more flavorful esp the shoyu ramen and gyudon. And service is very fast and efficient. Parking is a bit limited though. Dec 2023: We ordered our usual favorites, Shoyu Ramen, Crunchy Wanton Wasabi and Gyudon. Delicious as always 😊 Oct 2024: It's been a while since we've been here. Ordered our faves...Shoyu Ramen, Crispy Wanton Wasabi, Futomaki, Kakiage Tempura, Iced Tea and Watermelon Shake. Food is prepared well and it's very delicious.
