I recently had an amazing dining experience at Oriental Palace in Tomas Morato with my family. We had a fantastic time enjoying a delicious lunch together, and I wanted to share my thoughts about the restaurant and the dishes we ordered.

First off, let me tell you that Oriental Palace exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for our family gathering. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Now, let's talk about the food! We started with the Roasted Meat Platter and Seaweeds with Century Egg. The platter was a delightful assortment of perfectly cooked meats, each bursting with flavor. The Seaweeds with Century Egg provided a unique combination of textures and tastes that we all found fascinating.

The Shred Crabmeat Soup with Bird's Nest was a standout. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the addition of bird's nest added a touch of elegance. It was a comforting and indulgent choice that we couldn't get enough of.

The Peking Duck 2-Way was the star of the show. The presentation was impressive, and the taste was even better. The succulent duck meat, wrapped in delicate pancakes and paired with the traditional accompaniments, created a heavenly combination. We savored each bite and couldn't help but be amazed by the dish's flavors and textures.

Another highlight was the Mince Pork with French Beans in XO Sauce. The XO sauce provided a delightful kick, and the combination of tender pork and crunchy beans was simply irresistible. The Stir Fry Hofan with Sliced Beef was also a hit, with the beef perfectly cooked and the hofan noodles full of flavor.

To round off our meal, we indulged in the Mango Sago dessert. The sweet, juicy mangoes paired with the creamy sago pearls created a refreshing and satisfying ending to our culinary journey.

Overall, I can confidently say that Oriental Palace is a gem in Tomas Morato. The food was exceptional, with the XO french beans and the Peking Duck being our absolute favorites. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and attentive service made us feel right at home.

I highly recommend Oriental Palace to anyone looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine and a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more...

It was the FIRST time I left any chinese restaurant still hungry. Food was absolutely terrible. No, horrible! We were limited to non-meat options (by choice) so we ordered the hakaw, polonchay tofu, hainanese chicken, shrimp beancurd, garlic fish and hot prawn salad.

We barely started our meal when a tiny baby cockroach crawled across the table. Killed it and didn't make a fuss. The hakaw was so-so and the garlic fish (made with cheap frozen dory fillets) tasted like the fish had been sitting in the freezer for a LONG time, it was so NOT GOOD that we ate more of the bokchoy than the fish in this dish. The chicken was dry and tasteless. They forgot about the hot prawn salad and although I was still hungry, I told them to just cancel it kasi baka pagsisihan ko pa. The polonchay tofu was ok and the shrimp beancurd was edible at best. The servings are quite big but sadly I wasn't too happy about it. In my mind, how are we gonna finish that when the food tastes awful?! The food is lacking in freshness and quality that they try to make up for it with loads of MSG.

The place looks sad and the wall going up to the 2nd floor has some water damage it looks like there is mold coming out of the walls. Felt terrible coz there are so many other great restaurants in the area but we had to pick this one. I would definitely NOT recommend. Nor will we...

My family and I had an excellent dining experience at this Oriental Palace restaurant. From the start, the reservation process was smooth and hassle-free, handled through the Viber platform. The staff responded promptly and clearly to all my inquiries. Thank you to Shaline, Charlotte, Beth, and the other staff. We were seated in a private room per my request/reservation. Service was outstanding — our servers, Alexander and Jona to name a few were polite, efficient, and attentive. Their Captain, Hernan, ensured everything was coordinated perfectly throughout the meal. Great team! Thanks to Miss Susan as well. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish was cooked to perfection You could really taste the quality in every bite. After our meal, Our server politely check on how our food tasted. The mango sago was a bit sweeter but everyone finished their share 😁 What truly stood out was the warm gesture from the staff: they surprised our auntie by singing a birthday song in three different languages! It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming moment that made the celebration...

This has become our favorite spot for Chinese cuisine in Quezon City, especially when dining with family. The restaurant offers a clean and inviting ambiance, perfect for both small gatherings and larger family meals. One thing we always appreciate is the convenient parking space, which makes it so easy to visit, even during busy hours. The food is consistently delicious, with a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. Plus, the service is top-notch! There’s always a generous number of staff available to assist, making sure that everything is smooth and that guests are well taken care of. What makes this place even more special is the personal touch from the owner. We frequently see the owner on-site, actively involved and hands-on in managing the restaurant. It’s a great touch that adds to the sense of warmth and attention to detail that defines this place. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for authentic Chinese food with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.
