UCC Clockwork — Restaurant in Quezon City

The coffee float, kori kohi and shakshuka were all excellent. So why my 3-star rating? The service was bad. We came in at 3pm with the restaurant less than half full. To be fair the service staff were quick on their feet and hard working. However, they were mindlessly going about their tasks. There was zero effort to connect with the customers. It was get-your-order and leave and then bring your order with hardly any eye contact or interaction with the customer or acknowledgement of one’s requests. It was fast BUT absolutely devoid of any sign that they are pleased to serve. One gets the sense that they are not happy at all which took out the enjoyment of the good food. Again, half full or even less ang restaurant. Sayang talaga. I will certainly visit other UCC Clockwork branches if only to enjoy shakshuka and their coffee...

The staffs here in UCC vertis were very rude. I went here with my friends just to try the new magnum affogato. I had to order only one affogato because we were already full and I just wanted to try this. I then saw the waiter taking my order roll her eyes at me and looked at my friends for not ordering. She also placed the order on the table without care. My friends then ordered french toast for sharing but when we asked for additional forks, we felt like the other staff got annoyed too? Like is it bad to order food for sharing? And what’s with the attitude? We felt like we’re being judged by what we’ve ordered. Lastly, there were also termite swarms inside the restaurant and the staffs didn’t do anything to make it go away. Very disappointed with this experience. Will never visit this...

I've been to several UCC Cloclwork. They serve the same food and the only difference would be the service and promos per outlet. The outlet is relatively new, so more people were going to Scout's Honor and Pancake House nearby. The service was pretty fast by both wait staff and kitchen. There were minute differences on the food like their Japanese pancake was thinner than those of 30th and Blue Bay's. Another would be their Salpicao and Clam Chowder was less saltier than the other outlets. Of course these may change as time passes so you should try them out. I may be wrong, so you could just admire the pictures l took. The quality might not be too good, because it was pretty hard to concentrate when you'd rather be eating than taking a photo of...
