Love it so much more than KFC. Chicken tastes so much better and crispier. Gravy is better too and the chicken pieces are meatier and somehow larger although they are greasier as well. I love the other items like the fish sandwich and the other fixins like the mash potatoes and fries are so much tastier. I like the biscuits, so delicious too and the puffy cheese tots. I have to taste the Shrimp burgers too. I like the dirty rice and their red rice n beans. Menu in the Philippines is different than in the United States. They have corn on the cob and a few things missing from the U.S. and Canadian menu. They don't have a 3 piece or 4 piece with choice of 2 to 3 fixins for a complete meal. I guess Filipinos don't eat that much because those 3 piece and 4 piece choices are just for a single person. As you see in some vlogs in YouTube, people in North America eat a lot but I guess that's because North Americans have more money to spend on fast food and for eating out at restaurants. Filipinos don't make enough money to feed themselves here and it shows. Poor people I notice just drink alcohol a lot than eat good. Only the rich and wealthy people can eat good in the...
Read moreYou can count on good food at Popeyes, but the service at this branch is terrible.
First, they ran out of all major products and so they will ask to charge you additional fee. Example was the honey biscuit, which is not available, so they charge you 5pesos more for each "upgraded" hazelnut biscuit (which is the same biscuit with chocolate sauce on top). They also charge additional for a combo of the mild and spicy chicken when you order the bundle.
They also ran out of fries at this time, but I saw a couple of orders that had fries in them. Not sure why they're lying about product availability at this point.
Second, its not first come first served. The attendants would just place items, whether dine in or take out in random orders and call the ones they have assembled. We waited for more than 30minutes to get oir food, and it was not until I had followed up when the server started assembling our food. A couple of people behind me in line got served first.
I made a complain but the managers nor their staff apologized and just said that they assemble everything as it comes in. Their service and staff efficiency is something that needs a bunch of...
Read moreWorst branch so far. They serve undercooked chicken.
I returned my plate to them to show the chicken. They asked if I’m referring to the meat looking reddish. I said yes and asked if they can’t see it. Crew went to pantry with my plate, saw them laugh and talk about it. Crew went farther the pantry where I can’t see. She returned with my plate with the same chicken slightly rummaged and told me, “Luto na daw po yan. Red meat daw po kasi.”
I was surprised with what the crew told me, but just left the counter. Eventually my husband complained (slightly loudly this time) and then they offered to replace the chicken.
We just refused the offer, finished some from our plates and left. Not sure if this branch is a franchise, but hopefully Popeyes can correct this. Apparently this branch serves red meat chicken. 🙄
Chicken was supposedly for our 1yr old child. Good thing we checked it first. Anyways, never a good idea bringing babies to eat...
