In previous years, my family and I were avid customers of this branch, and overall, it was good back then. However, our recent visit left us thoroughly disappointed. The place had many flies, and that's not the worst part because we encountered multiple cockroaches on our table, the buffet table, in the restroom, and even one crawling in the nachos and on the clean buffet plates! The place was unsanitary, with a dark and gloomy ambiance. Additionally, one of the foods was spoiled, and the variety of choices had significantly decreased compared to before. Despite being advertised as an international buffet, there were only a few cuisines available, and the food was cold and tasted reheated. The "roasted goma sauce" or "roasted sesame sauce" tasted inauthentic, with a sweet and floury flavor. While some serving plates were empty, the waiters didn't bother to refill them while they chatted amongst themselves. Drink options were limited, with no coffee available, and the juices tasted like powdered mixes. The price was exorbitant and not justified by the quality of the experience; one could easily find better value elsewhere for 900 pesos. Despite celebrating two birthdays, the staff failed to sing a birthday song or provide the complimentary cake until we asked the management for just the cake instead. Even then, they only gave one cake despite having two celebrants. The birthday promo pricing also felt like a scam compared to other restaurants where you can eat for free with a required number of paying adults. Here, you had to bring two paying adults, each priced at 1080 pesos instead of the regular 888. Overall, I strongly advise against visiting this branch. It tarnished our memories and experiences, and I'm sure I won't be returning. You're better off spending your...
Read moreI've been frequenting this restaurant since it started years ago. But in recent years, quality seems to be declining continuously!
Gave it another chance since I was craving some salmon sashimi. Went here to celebrate my birthday with my family. It was very disappointing!!!
The food was hit and miss. They were serving bread near the sashimi area, I asked if it was possible to reheat the bread since it was already hard and cold as Ice. The servers looked at me as if I was crazy to even ask. A lady responded, they don't know how to reheat it! Roast beef and ham was still great. However, other food items looked like they were just reheated a couple of times. It looked dry and unappetizing.
Next, service, since it was my birthday, they gave out a small square piece of bday cake with a Happy Birthday note. The way the server placed it on our table was by sliding it fast towards me, without even saying anything, even a simple 'a cake for you' or any simple pleasantries. It was very hard to get any of their attention considering it was a weekday and the restaurant wasn't even half full. Upon leaving the restaurant, I asked if I could just take home the small cake given since I was already full and didn't want to waste it (Yes! You can take home the small bday cake given). The server without looking at me took from my hand the cake without saying anything but her face totally stoic with a hint of frowning eyebrows. Pinaramdam lang ni Ate Server na hindi ko sya dapat utusan!
Ambience was very very dark, dirty and uninviting.
Looks like I won't be coming back to...
Read moreTHIS IS a NEW review for Oct 18,2020. Things were different. There was a menu on the table, and you will just order what you want and the waiter will serve it to you..Sizes of the salmon sashimi was just a bit of less than half of an inch and it was thinly cut. Service is so slow, orders were mixed up. Some of our orders did not arrive. When we made a follow up, that was only the time we were informed that they ran out of stock. The blueberry cheesecake was soooooo tiny. Too bad was not able to take a picture. Imagine a small matchbox cut it in 4. That is the size of the blueberry cheesecake it also doesnt taste good anymore. For the juices they now use powder juice unlike before that everything was fresh. The size of the servings was good if you are as big as TINKER BELL OR THUMBELINA. The only time a waiter attended to us 1 time was when my son gave him a one hundred pesos tip so that he would pay attention to our orders. So sad that they deteriorated this way, I used to love it here and preferred it than vikings. But now, it' poor service, poor quality/quantity of food and juices...not worth your money. BUT TO BE FAIR, roastbeef still tastes good, the lechon still tastes good maybe they might improve after the pandemic. Who knows? I might change my review again, this is after all one of my or used to be my...
