It is a 5-day weekend but preferred to stay in Manila to avoid the crazy drive going out of town. Extended holiday break makes us crave for a beach trip but a seafood feast with my officemates is just as great. The Crab Maritess is a winner. It is priced at P220per/100g and we got a king crab at 1kg. A serving is good for 3-5pax. I can actually survive a meal with only its saucey garlic bits and rice. Failed to take a snap of the Dampa Style Garlic and Butter Prawns as much as I forgot to use my utensils. Always better to devour seafood with bare hands. Good thing we are seated next to the wash area. Other dishes we ordered is just average. We also tried vegetable sides: Tortang Talong (P235) and Laing sa Buko (P295).

Place is okay.. if you're living in the 90's. I have celebrated occasions here as a teenager, and a decade later, it still hasn't changed (and not in a good way). Place is cramped, not for the claustrophobic. Furniture are wearing. Aircon is weak. Although their service is good and accomodating. Their food is.. how should I put it? Bitin. Their crabs are males, thin and lackluster. For the shrimps titipirin ka with 5-6 pieces. Lucky ka na kung 7. Babawiin ka nalang with their sauces, which is not bad. Their prices, too much for what you get. I recommend na mag dampa nalang kayo. Overall, I give Red Crab Tomas Morato a high rating if it was 1998. Step it up Red Crab. Catch up with the times.

Food is underwhelming, there is nothing special about this place. I wish i could recommend this, but no. It needs to improve. Also, we waited for 30 minutes for our food and there is no other customers inside except for us. I waited another 15 minutes just to pay for our food. Service is really slow here. The place is a bit outdated as well. I did not like the ambiance of this place. I hope this place will improve since they are in Tomas Morato.

Quite na nice place to have some crabs. They don't taste frozen and the sauces are made good. However I only wish they had more western flavours to choose from a huge selection. The service was superb, Dint even had to speak to a server while dining. I have to agree that the crabs are overpriced by the grams but crabs these days cost a lot. They even have other new and non seafood items on the menu for alternatives or for people who have allergy ( and were just there for a reason.) which is good. Overall the crab...
