The only reason they even get a 2 star is, they had seating available.

Once seated and chips with salsa had been placed on the table, I asked if they had a hot salsa. What was brought to the table was a spiced up watered down version of the salsa that was on the table. Next, he pulled a drop and go with no questions or eye contact.

When he came back to take our order, he walked away as I was speaking with him.

On the second round of drinks, he asks if we want another drink l, we both said yes. He only brought my wife a drink and walked off. Several minutes later he came back to the table and asked if I wanted another drink.

As for the food. It was ok. Temperature wise, it wasn't that hot. The flavor was alright with a good portion size at a decent price.

The place was clean and there was 2 or 3 other couples.

In summary, this location is one that I would not go to again. The other locations have always been way better. That said, it will be a long while before we eat at...

This restaurant is amazing. It surpasses the required "Trifecta" effect to deserve a FIVE * rating. 1& 2 *'s= FOOD taste & quality. 3rd * = PORTIONS are large & equal. 4th & 5th *'s = SERVICE, which encompasses so many things. Starting with safe neighborhood, good street appeal, easy and adequate parking. (all of that & we haven't even walked through the front door yet). Friendly & professional greeters and waiters/servers. Assist with any unique or special menu needs or request in an efficient and expedient manner. Our meals were served to us warm and our every need was seen to promptly. The cost of dinner and beverages were properly and justifiably figured for us and allowed us to comfortably give our servers and wait staff a sizable tip for the way above normal service that our entire group received. Thank you for a fantastic...

This was my second time coming to this Mazatlan location. My mom is local to the area and has tried others and swears this is the best! I had the tamarindo margarita and pollo plate and WOW. The chicken was so moist and flavorful even though the slices were thin which can be hard to do without over drying! Every detail was delicious and you can tell it was carefully thought after like the side of guacamole which was nice and sour with lime, the coleslaw fresh and crunchy and the the table chips and salsa had a great kick! The margaritas are nothing to steer away from either because they’re strong and very tasty so definitely worth your buck. I already can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town so I can take my mom out to a great traditional Mexican lunch. We are from Guerrero and really enjoyed all the delicious authentic flavors...

Stopped in based on reviews from Yelp. Service was pretty good, though no one really seemed very happy to be there. When I ordered, the server literally grunted at me. Restaurant is in a strip mall so the ambiance felt a little off but it was set up like a typical mexican restaurant. I had the beef chimichanga. Very delicious. Lots of guac and sour cream and enchilada sauce. Plenty of beans and rice, which was part of the lunch special. Chips and salsa (and surprisingly…a cup of refried beans for dipping) were good and I specifically asked for mild salsa based on a previous review’s recommendation. Total cost of the meal, including soft drink was $16 which I thought was reasonable.
