Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Gdansk

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. The person at the reception was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful toward guests. Instead of providing proper customer service, he was more interested in pushing for cash payments to avoid taxes, clearly trying to pocket the money. This is dishonest and feels like a scam.

The food itself was very disappointing — greasy, bland, and nowhere near fresh or authentic. On top of that, the staff showed a shocking lack of respect. They should remember how to talk to guests and serve them better, instead of lying and hiding their mistakes when called out.

It’s not just me — I know others have faced similar behavior here before. This place runs on poor service, shady practices, and a terrible attitude toward customers. Truly an awful and unacceptable experience.

TOURIST TRAP! I honestly hate to even give 1 star. The portions for the price is honestly laughable. I've seen larger portions for a toddler for a far better price, and this is not an exaggeration at all. The quality was bare minimum and the photos of the menu do NOT reflect the actual food whatsoever. You will pay around 40zł for 5 bites of beef with maybe 3 pieces of veggies and nothing more. Save your money and your taste buds from a bad meal. I do not recommend. Seriously. I was not even given my receipt after our meal and then to be told "you ever ate here" is a way this place wants to keep business going.
