Terrible service! All because of one waitress girl. We waited 15-20 minutes for her to make an order. I called her once, she looked at me, but did not react in any way. When she came, I pointed out that we were waiting for a long time, were going to leave .. why she began to sort things out, interrupt, explain something, while never apologizing .. ok! Then she brough an incorrect dish…. It's just incredible. The girl and I clearly indicated the main course in Polish and English: kaczka / duck .. the waitress wrote down everything and listed the order once. We didn’t confuse anything and we remembered everything very well, but she began to make DEMONSTRATIVE explanations, to shift the blame onto us! We have never faced such rudeness in our life !!! As a result, the duck was brought to us - it happened after 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived at the restaurant. That's not all: she brought us chips with sauces ... in 10 min - she brought drinks .. and for some reason took one of the chips from the plate ... .. it was very strange - I don’t know Polish, I don’t know and didn’t want to find out why she did it, but it was very strange ... Then, a little later, to put a plate with the main course, she pushed the plate of chips aside .. while she dropped one of the chips on the bare table ... she left it there and just walked away ...)) ... The food is delicious ... the music, the interior, the prices - everything is very good ... but the waitress is absolutely incompetent, sloppy, arrogant, deceitful and quarrelsome. It was terrible !!! Terrible...
Read moreLittle Chinese, an Asian restaurant, made quite an impression. Despite its small size, the place has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for a meal. One pleasant surprise was the free prawn crackers served as an appetizer, a nice touch to start the meal. For our main dishes, we ordered noodles with tofu and hot plate chicken with vegetables. The portions were substantial, and what made it even better was the complimentary rice that came with all main courses. The food was prepared quickly and served hot. In terms of taste, Little Chinese did a great job. The dishes were not only delicious but also had that authentic Asian flavor. The seasoning and spices were just right, making every bite enjoyable.
The staff was attentive and friendly, with a good command of English. They were ready to assist with any questions and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, our visit to Little Chinese was a great one. It's a solid choice for those looking for good Asian cuisine and friendly service. I recommend checking it out if you're...
Read moreWhen you decide to wander from the Train station into the heart of Gdansk, you may accidentally pass this restaurant with its cute outdoor dining area and cosier interior (the name doesn't lie, it is little!). And it is very easy to keep strolling past, however I fully recommend you take the time whether lunch or evening, to try and find some space, which occasionally can be difficult, and enjoy some of the best Chinese food I've had in Poland.
I will admit, I am not a Chinese food expert, but I do have expertise in Chicken with cashew nuts in Hoisin sauce (I'm a man, like many, who knows what he likes!). Where at this point I'm often left a little disappointed by many Asian restaurants in Poland, I wasn't here, with great flavour and generous portions, however I would warn the more sensitive of you about the spicy prawn cracker dips!
But the food aside, the restaurant itself is very welcoming, run by the same family for 16 years, or so we were told when chatting with them!
The only question we were left asking when we left was, why hasn't we...
