location not in the crowded center - a nice idea for a Saturday breakfast spot

we went there specifically because the images on Google Maps looked amazing - but reality didn’t match the promise

shakshuka bread: six rocks disguised as bread, felt like leftovers from last week - impossible to chew, a huge letdown compared to the photos

ham dish looked like the McDonald’s effect - promo photo vs reality, half the size and half the impression

pricing confusion - promotion exists, but unless you specifically ask, you’re charged full price. That feels shady and leaves a bad taste before you even eat. The "advertising stand" was present the day we went there.

mugs look cool, but try drinking boiling hot Americano without a handle… not fun

Americano served at ~100°C, undrinkable for 10 minutes - adding a splash of cold water would fix this instantly

We chose Fragments for a Saturday breakfast because the photos online looked fantastic and raised expectations. Sadly, reality was mid at best. Coffee is fine, but the food quality and presentation feel careless. Fresh bread shouldn’t be optional, promos shouldn’t feel like a secret scam, and little details (like coffee temperature) matter. Unless there are big changes soon, Fragments risks becoming one of Kraków’s many cafés that close within 2 years (90% of them, sadly). There’s potential here, but survival will require serious improvement. Also the owner should respect and be more interested in constructive criticism, than on shallow 5/5 praises that leave you wondering why this particular place is empty when other places...

I came to this café with a friend, and during the whole meal we were constantly barked at by a dog. It was very uncomfortable, yet the receptionist, who was sitting with the dog’s owners, never bothered to handle the situation. On top of that, I asked if they had tap water, was told yes and that it would be brought to me, but it never arrived and no explanation was given. Even something as basic as asking if we wanted sugar with our coffee was ignored — they didn’t bring any sugar or even a spoon to stir it, just the plain coffee. The service is truly poor, the food is just average, and overall the experience was very disappointing.
