No Bones - this is an excellent plant-based restaurant based at a cosy location in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town. The quality of the food served is excellent - and the price point is second to none. There is a comprehensive range of cuisines on offer - I went for the steak tartare to start (which was flawless) and a classic Polish pork cutlet. The pork was a delicious substitute - my one point of critical feedback was that the potatoes and cucumber salad were a little bland - something that would be hopefully easy to rectify. Regardless, No Bones is a must stop for any vegan (and anyone else) visiting Krakow. Edit November 2024: No Bones is a vegan restaurant based in central Krakow. The vibe is rustic and the service was very friendly! We had their pierogi which we felt were the best vegan pierogi we tried in Karkow. We also tried their burger and the Schnitzel, both of which were very tasty but we felt were slightly on the salty side. The chips, baby boil potatoes and the pickled cabbage was lovely! So just the meat alternatives were a little too over seasoned. It was a shame as everything else about the dishes were perfect! I'm not sure if the saltiness was a mistake or the usual flavour but I feel like for some people it will be to their taste. Overall if you like the style of dishes presented above or you want to try the best vegan pierogi, I would definitely advise visiting 😁

Tempted by a vegan restaurant in Kraków next to a lot of Polish restaurants mostly based on meat, we were eager to experience an amazing and healthy meal. Unfortunately it was quite the opposite. The soup was lacking flavour. It just didn't taste like anything but really watery despite the look. Plus it was served almost cold. Two days later I had a beetroot soup in another vegan restaurant which was simply amazing. Sadly this one wasn't. Same goes for the main. The Szechuan Peper listed in the ingredients just wasn't there. The peanut sauce was really nice. That's basically it. My friend had the tartar sunken in mayonnaise as starter and the Udon noodles as main dish. Both was without any flavour. It took us some time to finish the meals and rarely have we been so bored by food... Furthermore me and my friend were suffering a digestion trauma for 1 1/2 day afterwards. Really can't recommend this place. Try one of the amazing other vegan restaurants in Kraków. One star though for the really friendly and kind service.

The food was very good. The burger is not my cup of tea since it’s made with beyond meat which I’m not a fan of, but my non-vegan friends loved it. The salad with tempeh was good although I wish there was a different, lighter dressing with. The tempeh in the salad was delicious though. The steak tartare was quite nice. Texture-wise it was there. The taste did not imitate the meat but it was a nice, authentic vegan tartare - one of the best I’ve tried so far. I just wish they added a different kind of bread and maybe some pickles and onion on the side. The best dish I’ve tried there was the korean bulgogi. The meat was flavourful, and the thick udon was covered in a delicious sauce. In addition to the amazing food, the place itself was very aesthetically-pleasing and the music was nice too. The waitresses, although it was quite late, were kind and did not show any signs of tiredness - very professional. Overall, it was a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at No Bones Restaurant during my visit to Krakow, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience for a non-vegan like myself. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of options available at No Bones.

The restaurant boasts a charming and cozy atmosphere, combining modern and rustic elements to create a welcoming ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service throughout my meal. They were also well-informed about the menu, readily answering any inquiries I had. They were super accommodating with my young son.

We had the " No Feather's Katsu Curry", the "No Bones Burger", a portion of chips & the homemade passion fruit lemonade.

They were super and we enjoyed every bite, I could not find fault with it at all, portion size, quality, and piping hot. My partner found the passion fruit lemonade a bit sweet for her taste, but my son and myself really liked it.

I would recommend it here even if you are not a vegan...
