We made reservations at this restaurant a while back after seeing such glowing reviews. We showed up last night fifteen minutes before our 8 PM time. When we went to check in with the hostess she informed us our reservation was for two. I showed her the email which clearly stated we reserved for three. It took a few minutes for her to finally decide to seat us but not until making it sound like it was such a big deal. The funny part was that there weren’t many people in the restaurant eating. When we booked the reservation we were excited to be sitting in the interior that all the photos showed but were highly disappointed that during summer they seat you in a bland outdoor area. Clearly a little false advertising going on. The service was ok. I got the feeling that the girls working there wanted to close early and go home (or out for Friday night). We saw them turn away a couple when the restaurant was still open. As far as the food goes it was the most unexciting meal we have had so far on our vacation. I would call the food here average at best. I ordered the pork ribs and they were terrible. Tasted like they were cooked quickly in the oven. Meat was tough and not falling off the bone like it should be. Overall I would say that we definitely made a mistake to book this restaurant. With all the great restaurants in Krakow why would anyone...

Other reviewers’ warning about flies are true. I’d avoid this place. Look at my photos to see what I mean. I had their baked leg of duck and a glass of red wine and the food is best described as merely decent—which meant it was overpriced at the amount they’re charging. Unless you are at ease with little insects flying around you and landing at your food, hands or glass, you’ll be spending every other minute swatting the flies away from you and your food. It’s not a fun experience. The staff here are a mixed bag, there was one really friendly one and another really... professional one.

Here’s a tip: go to Winoman! The wine bar/ restaurant is right beside this and they have an even cooler decor and vibe there. They have great wine and food and their staff...

The food is OK, not necessarily excellent, but the staff is very weak: at the entrance, the waitress asks me: "what am I looking for there?"; I answered "I want to eat". After taking my order, she forgets 2 things from what I ordered, she sends another colleague to remind her what I ordered. Maybe because I was wearing a hoodie, not necessarily tourist pants??? Of course, it was not possible to pay by card (although I could rent their restaurant during my vacation), only cash. Is it also because I was not "dressed as a tourist" (according to their standard) (for the third waiter)? By the way, in the inner courtyard, outdoors, smoking is not allowed.

In total: score 1.50 for the experience in...

Something wonderful, a real feast of flavors. This place can be easily missed because it is not located close to the street. The restaurant is accessed via a corridor and several sides of stairs! At first glance, you can see that the walls are several hundred years old. We ate duck leg, a vegetarian dish (eggplant) and the most famous dish in Poland, pierogi. All the dishes met our expectations. We tried Polish wine and beer. The staff did not speak Italian but English was very good. Special thanks to the entire team! We recommended this place to our neighbors. It is worth saving this place.

This Polish restaurant is just outside the main square and offers a wider choice of dishes than in the main square. I got tired of wandering around Rynek in the heat only to find that each restaurant essentially serves exactly the same food. Picnics pod Komi Kiev has a tucked away garden shaded by umbrellas and a much more satisfying menu. The coffee is also good and strong. I would recommend that people walk that little bit further to enjoy a good Polish meal. I ate the trout with truffle mash, carrots, leeks, courgettes and some chicory. It’s nicely cooked quality food.
