The food was great. I enjoyed it alot.

My issue with this place is the service.

Once we were seated, they came to take our order, then the food arrived shortly after; no problems at all... the food is food. But, there was no check up to ensure our meal was ok or if wee required any more drinks, it seemed as though they were more focused on the bigger party across from us. I understand more people take more time but not once did anyone come over to check on us or look to ensure we were OK. I just find it a little annoying..

It's not difficult to do a little sweep around and check on everyone.. I felt like an outsider, yes I am not native to this country but it would have been nice just to know we can be welcomed in their space.

They request a 10% service charge.. (which I always consider, if not more, depending on service.)

I reluctantly gave it to them as I didn't want to feel like I was being mean. But they didn't deserve it. In my opinion.

I could and would tip more.. I was disappointed.

It seems they were more interested in dealing sith the party of 4 who were next to us. I understand technically they are spending more money but from a sales type perspective they could have gained more money from.us, drinks, desert, but the staff really don't seem to understand.

The food was ok. We did enjoy it. But there was no option to adjust.. for example... how much parmasan you wanted on your pasta.. ideally it is given as a condiment to add yourself.. they just decided to add copious amounts themselves.. I dont think this is a good way to go about doing it.

What a fantastic restaurant we have found in the heart of Krakow. Everything was absolutely perfect. The front of the house with high standard of manner and extremely helpful. Food was full of taste and true polish in it's perfection and simplicity. Amazing chef! Service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered 'Pierogi' - beautiful and exactly how you can imagine Polish pierogi should be. Second main was my little boy's 'chicken strips' - beautiful, full of taste and fresh. Third main was 'schabowy' -also cannot say even a tiny bad word about it. And four main was ' Cauliflower with sweet potatoes fries'- and I have never tasted such a beautiful vegetarian dish, full of taste and flavours. Everything was so beautiful we couldn't leave without a magnificent dessert of 'Maldrzyki Krakowskie ' that we were recommended by our fabulous host. I simply cannot wait to come back there again. Started off great with the tartare although in my opinion it wasn’t balanced well, tomato soup had a hair in it which was discarded because me and my partner work in this same industry and understand things go wrong and we didn’t want to cause a head ache.

Mains came my “strip loin” looked like fake meat and tasted like it was frozen and days old I cook steak everyday that was no normal strip loin, medium rare looked like plastic. Dish was replaced by confit duck which was cooked so well done it was essentially just Chinese shredded duck. My partners cauliflower had some sort of black squishy ness to a certain part my guess is just a quick grill job.

Over all I think for the venue of the place the food puts it to shame the waitress was incredible and made sure we were okay with everything.

Pomme purée and salad are 10/10 but guess it’s hard to make it bad?

Honestly just do better , big...
