Very disappointing – we didn’t feel welcome
Yesterday, around 7 PM, my boyfriend and I were walking by the river with some friends. He went into the restaurant to ask if we could book a table for 2 people at 9 PM. The staff told him there were no tables available. He came back looking sad and said they didn’t seem friendly and looked at him with doubt.
I felt something was wrong, so I called the restaurant a few minutes later to ask the same thing—if we could book a table for 2 at 9 PM. They told me, “Yes, no problem.” So I made the reservation under my name. When we came back at 9 PM, the restaurant was almost empty. I even took a photo because it was so strange. The food and the view were very nice, but the way we were treated was not. I also asked the waitress if the restaurant has any special rules for reservations, or soecial requirements but she told me there are no special requirements. If so why man's reservation is denied while mine is accepted? This made us feel very uncomfortable. As tourists, we felt like we were treated unfairly. Read moreOrganizing a company event, I called on Tuesday 31st August to book for over 10 people on a Friday 3rd September night. We arrived with most of my colleagues to the restaurant on the agreed time, and it was completely CLOSED. I was shocked.. I did not get a call or a notification that the restaurant will be closed. They were well informed that it is for a group event, and they did not even think to call the guests to notify about closing. I am sure you all agree that this is unacceptable.. People have schedules for weekends, and they came dressed.. this was supposed to be a well organized event, and an enjoyable evening but it became a disaster and such an embarrassment, especially to myself as the organizer. We couldn't find a place to accept such a big number of people on a Friday evening and we had to get cancel the event. An establishment who do not treat their customers seriously and with respect should not be visited, nor supported.

Came here for a quick bite to eat. Sat down, received drinks pretty quickly and ordered a burger and fries to eat. Took over an hour to get my food. Meanwhile, I watched people get seated, received their food, paid their bill and leave before I received my food. The waitress said there was an issue with the kitchen. But clearly the issue wasn't that big if other customers were receiving their food. Almost left but then I was interested to see how long would it be before I got my food. Finally recieved my food and a half-hearted apology. The burger was terrible. I was unable to finish the meal. A discount was given. Paid and left. My waitress was terrible at best and my food wasn't good. The other waiters and waitresses looked like they were working hard, and my food order may be an anomaly. The boat is nice, great views....
