"From my perspective, this establishment would receive two stars solely for the dishes, but fortunately or unfortunately, it's not just the taste and quality of the food that determines one's opinion and impression of an establishment.
Let's start with the fact that I chose this place because I wanted to surprise my significant other for their birthday with a piano performance. Initially, I liked this place as it is themed around music and even features a piano in its name.
I intentionally visited the establishment beforehand to talk to the manager about the possibility of my surprise piano performance. I was greeted by a very pleasant woman, and we discussed everything nicely. She gave her approval for my request, for which I am extremely grateful. However, at that moment, we discovered the next issue I encountered: the website's reservation system didn't work correctly. Everything was booked until the 9th, and the "October 8th" button couldn't physically work. Nonetheless, my reservation ended up being on the 8th, which caused inconvenience. However, the manager solved this issue, and we reached an agreement. Everything should have gone smoothly from my perspective, but unfortunately, it turned out the opposite.
The next day, we arrived at the appointed time, only to be told that all tables were occupied. Upon checking my reservation, it was noted that it was booked for the wrong date. This situation made me realize there was a clear problem in the staff's communication, which I further confirmed. After waiting for 10 minutes, they finally seated us.
The menu was given to us after about 5 minutes, and a waiter came after 15 minutes, even though the place was almost empty, indicating that there was little to no activity in the dining area, which should have allowed for a quicker response.
Already in a sour mood, I wanted to approach the manager to confirm everything and see if I could play, as we had agreed the previous day. To my surprise, I encountered a different manager, whose demeanor and tone immediately discouraged me from staying. According to her, the area with the instrument was fully reserved, and guests were expected at any moment. When I mentioned our prior agreement with another manager, she was dismissive.
Her unfriendly and, for various reasons, incomprehensible response made me lose interest in being in this establishment. However, thanks to my significant other, we stayed.
The song I wanted to play would have taken a maximum of 3 minutes, but the "scheduled guests" arrived an hour and a few minutes later. Despite unkept promises, unpleasant interactions, and several minutes of pointless waiting, I was surprised that the dishes were delicious. We ordered chicken with mushrooms in sauce and pasta in tomato sauce. The dishes were genuinely harmonious and delightful in taste. However, we found the dessert to be odd. We ordered creme brulee and, out of habit, tapped the spoon on the sugar, hoping it would crack, but the spoon simply sank in like in porridge. Nevertheless, the dessert still had a good taste.
As for the prices, I believe the dishes are reasonably priced. Cheaper would be unfair, and more expensive would be excessive.
In conclusion, I hope no one else encounters these issues when visiting this establishment. I also hope that these were temporary mistakes made by the staff rather than a regular problem with...
Read moreUnfortunately having read so much about this location/ business, I expected far more from this business.. You need to book to dine here in our experience.. We arrived on a Saturday night at a sensible time and told there was no availability..
Ok.. Lesson learned.. So we booked a table for the Sunday night, and we had a late booking, no problem, busy place so we just arrived at our allotted time..
That's when the dissapointment now kicks in.. Asked for menus for food a nd drinks..
We chose our meals and when the member of staff finally arrived to take the order, " oh sorry sir we have none of that left.."
Tried a different mains.. " sorry again sir that's not available because we've none left.."
So I said " OK, please tell me what is available to choose from?"
So that's decided.. Food took a time to be delivered to table..
And when there was very few customers inside at the time, this surprised us...
So having eaten mains, it took ages and we had to ask for the desert menu..
"Ah..let me check.." You've guessed it, some of desert dishes weren't available..
The food that we ate was nice , but the service was just so unprofessional..
Having eaten around the world, I was so looking forward to dining and listening to music in a wonderful atmosphere..
Despite the warm and pleasing looking interior, we felt we just didn't matter.. And if a venue has a menu but struggles to deliver what's on the menu, then just advise on entry for a customer to choose whether or not to stay..
Staff just seemed more interested in getting ready to go home, because from nowhere, the bill was delivered and we weren't actually...
Read moreWe had been in Krakow for five days and we decided to visit this place on four of them. On the last one 5/12/24 we had the most miserable visit to any place we had been to. The previous 3 days the atmosphere and service was excellent, this is why we always came back. On the last day we came in and chose a table to sit at which didn’t have a lot of room around it. We waited 10 minutes for the girl to bring a menu. We ordered our drinks and while waiting a better table became free. We decided to move to this table when a quite arrogant waiter came over and snarled that the table was not ready. I said it’s ok, but before I could finish he snarled it’s not ok. I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to embarrass him for being so rude. Our drinks came served by a very frosty and miserable young girl. We finished our drinks and waited for a good 20 mins to see if we would be approached to see if we wanted more drinks. The young girl never came anywhere near. We put our coats on and asked to pay the bill, asking for the service charge to be taken off. The young girl suddenly didn’t understand English. The table beside us who had also waited for service follow behind us. While there the arrogant waiter also found it funny to flick the roof of the glass house throwing lots of debris into the next restaurants tables and chairs. Please note this was outside in the glass houses not in the main restaurant about 2.30pm. The previous visits were fantastic and the staff on a...
