It used to be better. I used to stop hwre every week for liver and onions for pretty much all of 2024 and when I came back a few days ago there were basically seven slivers of onion lost in these massive chunks of liver and apple. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt terrible because the meat was actually cooked percectly, but when onion is one of the two main components of the dish...it was wildly disappointing to find it missing.

As for the service, I was so confused. I finished, she took my plate and empty glass and then she just sat down again and continued to read the menu while occasionally looking around like a space cadet until I finally asked if she'd mind letting me pay so that I could leave, maybe? So odd.

Found this place whilst on a walk and liked the look of the menu - good range of polish dishes which come with good portions at good value price. The inside is darker decor and could be considered by some very traditional style but we liked that. It was warm, not too touristy / commercial and we enjoyed our meal

Beef cheeks were very tasty and lovely slow cooked meat

Last night in Krakow 11th Sept 2025. Food is super delicious. In our many meals here since 5th Sept… food for our taste is generally on the saltier side. But I reckon that’s just us.

We had pork with some sort of sauce I can’t recall. Pork burger and trout.

Service was 4 stars because it lacked warmth and friendliness. Although efficient. We still tipped though because it was efficient.

We sat inside but outside seatings were buzzing. It was good chilly for us.
