I had a very disappointing experience at Zeera Indian Cuisine. The food, particularly the chow mein noodles, was extremely greasy and tasted like it was cooked in burned oil. My curry was watery and wasn't spicy enough, even though we specifically said that we like the "Asian level" of spiciness. Chow me in was spicier, but not tasty because of the oil. To make things worse, I witnessed the chef eating from the pan with his bare hands while preparing the food, which is completely unacceptable. There was also a hair in both my food and drink. great service and amazing food! we were a party of three on a business trip and were very pleased with the quality of service and the delicious food. the staff were very helpful and patient, explaining the ingredients and flavours of a number of dishes we were considering, and in the end helped us settle on our final choice of fare.

i have been to many Indian restaurants and i have to rank Zeera 5/5 on all accounts.

my lamb madras w/rice was delicious and i would have had more if i had had any room left in my stomach! the portion size is generous and the atmosphere at Zeera is very cozy and relaxed. if you're up for some great Indian classics, there is literally no need to look for any other Indian...

Found this place in the old town which wandering about. Looked it up on Google and it had good reviews. I am only going to add to those good reviews. The food was first class. Starter of chicken pakora was clearly freshly cooked from the kitchen. I had a tandoori boona. They offered different strengths. My wife had a mutton curry , again with spice options. Very very good. Well worth every penny. We were here in the last few days and the town was quiet of tourists. The food was served swiftly. Can't fault it. A good , very good alternative to local food in the main square. My wife had two glass bottles of pepsi and I had a 500ml white wine. It was about £35. It's hidden away...
