We had dinner yesterday at Sour with my daughter, and it turned out to be the best dining experience we’ve had during our three days in Warsaw. We ordered the young carrots as a starter, Ukrainian borscht for my daughter, and beef ribs with potatoes and pickles for me. The flavors were truly impressive – you could clearly taste each ingredient separately. The meat, the carrots, the potatoes – all had their distinct flavor, which speaks highly of the chef’s skill. The only downside for us was that the food felt a bit too oily – both the borscht and the ribs. People who are sensitive to rich, fatty foods (like me) might experience heartburn afterwards, which I unfortunately did. But that’s more a personal note than a complaint. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely – cozy, beautifully decorated, clean, and with a wonderful aroma throughout the space, including the restrooms (which had great hand soap, hand cream, and diffusers). When the bathroom light stopped working, the staff quickly lit candles in candleholders – such a thoughtful touch! Service was excellent – the staff were warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming, which is rare to find. Although the wait for our food was a bit long (despite the restaurant being only half full), we didn’t mind at all, as the ambiance was so pleasant. As food lovers who follow Warsaw-based food bloggers, we came to Sour because it’s featured in many reviews – and it fully lived up to the hype. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates thoughtful, well-executed cuisine and a truly...

Sour has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Warsaw. This place perfectly balances creativity with execution, offering dishes that are both innovative and delicious.
Highlights from my recent visit: Chicken pate - incredibly smooth and flavorful, a perfect starter. Classic tartare - beautifully prepared with traditional accompaniments. Chicken Kyiv - their take on this classic is absolutely amazing and so original! The presentation and flavors were spot-on. Dorada - served boneless which was such a thoughtful touch. Elegant preparation and perfectly cooked. Honey cake - this is a must-try! Six layers of fluffy perfection. Pistachio-raspberry choux puff - my personal favorite dessert, the combination is divine.
The drink menu is equally impressive - the kombucha with sour cherry/lavender and the lemonade with sour cherry are both fantastic and refreshing.
The menu offers a great variety of starters and mains, with everything from Mediterranean-inspired dishes to creative takes on classics. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is attentive.
Highly recommend making a reservation - this place deserves all the attention it's getting. Can't wait to come back and try...

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The breakfasts are both unique and bursting with interesting flavors that make them stand out from anything else in the city. As for the main courses, the combinations of ingredients are nothing short of brilliant—each dish feels like a carefully crafted work of art.
And let’s not forget the desserts! They have their own bakery on-site, and it shows. Everything is freshly made, and the desserts are simply divine—a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
