If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This café is the perfect destination if you're in the mood to be ignored, misled, overcharged, and insulted—all while sipping the wrong drinks. My recent visit was less a relaxing coffee break and more an endurance test of how far customer service can fall in a place that’s clearly more concerned with how it looks on Instagram than how it treats people.
We arrived and waited politely outside, unsure of the ordering system. A waitress eventually noticed us—not to greet or guide, but to gesture vaguely inside and say, “You’ll have to go in to order.” No smile. No explanation. Just a cold brush-off. We complied, only to watch in disbelief as she turned around and started giving full table service to another group that had arrived after us. Apparently, they were more deserving of actual hospitality.
Inside, we attempted to order. We placed a simple drink order—including two standard coffees and an affogato. Not only did the barista not know what an affogato was (a basic coffee dessert, not exactly obscure), but she asked, “Is that a cocktail?” When we explained it’s just espresso poured over ice cream, she blinked at us like we’d asked for something out of a Michelin kitchen. Eventually, we gave up and just ordered other drinks.
Naturally, they got those wrong too.
One of our coffees was completely different from what we ordered—some burnt, bitter pour-over nightmare that we definitely didn’t ask for. The other was so watery it tasted like they ran hot water through the memory of a coffee bean. We also never got the pastry we paid for. And of course, no one checked on us. We had to carry everything back to our table ourselves, while other customers continued getting doted on with smiles, food recommendations, and actual service.
The interior is everything you’d expect from a try-hard “artisan” café: reclaimed wood, hanging plants, curated playlists, and a menu written in a typeface that screams “we care more about aesthetic than accuracy.” But it’s all an empty shell. The real experience here isn’t about good coffee or hospitality—it’s about watching the staff pick and choose who’s worthy of being treated like a paying customer.
The cherry on top? No apology. No effort to fix the wrong orders. Just a vibe of condescension and complete indifference.
This place is a textbook example of everything wrong with the modern café scene: too cool to care, too busy being “hip” to actually deliver a decent experience. If they can’t make basic drinks right, don’t understand a common menu item like an affogato, and think customer service is optional, they shouldn’t be in the service industry at all.
Save yourself the money, the time, and the embarrassment of being treated like you don’t belong. We won’t be back—and we’ll make sure others know not to...
Read moreNice but I will not come back! The Cafe is lovely, it immediately caught our attention and decided to stop for coffee and try their beautiful cakes on display. I ordered americano with milk which is 18 PLN (180ml) and my husband Vienna coffee. We also had kremówka, I wanted napoleonka but they didn't have this cake but it was on the menu. Well, our order came immediately, my coffee americano was cold, and watered down. It was served in a big cup but it was filled in less than half of the cup(it does say in the menu the ml) I think it is the incorrect cup if the amount is so small. I can tell the americano wasn't freshly made. And it didn't have milk even though I ordered it and the waiter even asked me if I preferred steamed or cold milk. The service was good, they were very welcoming, however nobody came back to check on us, so we were not able to order anything else. I had to ask another waitress for the bill. I know it sounds like I am complaining about something so small, but I really feel like the coffee is not worth 18pln and I'm truly disappointed and dissatisfied. The place is so nice and I might come back but for now I don't...
Read moreThis café definitely leans toward the posh side – lovely decor, clean lines, and a curated atmosphere that suggests you're meant to be impressed. And to be fair, it almost works.
The staff could perhaps crack a smile or two – efficiency is one thing, but a touch of warmth wouldn't hurt. A café experience is, after all, more than just caffeine and cake.
Speaking of which: the specialty Wuzetka - proudly presented as a Warsaw must-try, is certainly worth tasting... if only to remind yourself that the world of pâtisserie is vast, and Warsaw doesn’t necessarily top the list.
As for the cappuccino – it’s perfectly decent by local standards. Not life-changing, but it gets the job done.
In short: worth a visit, just keep your...
