Outstanding little place for wine, small plates, and amazing atmosphere. The food was all local and absolutely incredible and the sommelier (Maria) who runs the place incredibly warm and welcoming while having a knack for finding the perfect glass of wine for her customers. Can't recommend enough! Come here!!!! One caveat: the menu is a bit misleading on the price per glass of wine, which seemed to imply they're all the same price; they're not quite (ours ranged from €5-€7 for everything from a premium douro to a lovely sparkling) but you absolutely get what you pay for. If you're on a tight budget, let her know so she can keep to it for pairings. (Still totally reasonable- we spent €57 on two tapas dishes + bread and tasted 7 different glasses of wine between us)

This place deserves 10 stars. We were visiting from out of town and happened upon this little wine bar that also serves small plates to share - we had an incredible time, the owner served us and was so knowledgeable about the (very!) local wines she served us, we tried 4 types between the two of us and all were really delicious. We had made some other dinner plans but we're having such a nice time in the pretty shop that we cancelled our plans and decided to order food. We chose the grilled chorizo, a cheese plate with onions caramelized in wine, and a salted cod salad/dish with fresh onions and olives - we were so pleased, everything was wonderful. The owner was so personable and kind, we would LOVE to return in the future!

This is such a little hidden gem! I discovered this place walking past and popped in to check it out. Great and comfortable atmosphere with a cool, natural stone wall in the back. Amazing wine selection but what made it super welcoming was Maria, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and was helpful in picking out something to suit our taste. We started with a sparkling wine and then moved to a red and white. A small, but perfectly curated menu with unique food options to pair with your wine. We had the bread with lupine pesto, caldo verde, and salmon with lemon curd. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Incredible. Such a wonderful bar - incredible selection of wines. It was an education, a very tasty and enjoyable one. Far better than any guided wine tasting.

Maria is a magician, she reads people and their tastes and preferences so well. Rather than being guided by a region or grape, she proffers a range of wines based on personal preferences.

I went with my family for one glass (best we’ve had in many visits to Portugal), they left to put my daughter to bed.
