If you have half French/ Portuguese blood and you are looking to eat some good bread in Madeira Please visit them and buy pao caseiro , pão de frutas ( still soft and delicious the day after ) with lots of fruits inside . Prices are very enjoyable , I found it even cheap .

Absolutely thee best cakes and pastries in Madeira and at a great price, every cake, every pastry we bought tasted amazing. We couldn't believe how cheap these were sold for, it's a must do when visiting Funchal. The server was polite and very informative about the produce when quizzed about what they were.
