Offering steak on a fresh baked baguette and giving pork with wet bread on the inside that was flatted by hand is not acceptable. The bread was so soaked that is was disgusting to eat, which my friend didn't. She complained to the waiter, but he said, it's a matter of taste. Well, steak is not pork and to ask €8,50 for this is a disgrace! My friend ordered another bread which was okay. When I wanted to pay the bill, they wanted me to pay for the wet bread with pork, which I didn't want to pay for. The chef of the restaurant was making a total fuss against me when I wanted to pay the bill in which he removed the €8,50 from the wet pork bread. He said with angry voice: I removed it because I wanted to. I said I didn't want to discuss with him and I pay the bill of €30. (in this amount I already paid for the bread anyway, because it doesn't cost much for them) Then, from out the kitchen he was showing me fresh baked bread and was looking very mad at me. He should be ashamed for treating customers this way. He should be ashamed for giving pork, when there's steak offered on the menu card. I don't think he knows the meaning of 'customer'. Terrible service. Yelling at me behind the counter where I wanted to pay. So, when you have a complained about some food, you get an angry chef! You just have to except the food and shut your mouth apparently! Even though it's not what's on the menu card and it's not eatable! And I asked for a baguette with tuna, what was on the menu card, and got tunasalade with a leaf of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Also not what I wanted. All in all, no good! Don't go eat...
Read moreIts my first negative comment ever. Terrible service and rude lady. She refused to give us the menu, saying that we can only drink, and the menu comes at 12:00. it was 11:30 . I asked what kind of drinks they have since she don't give me a menu. she replied we have everything. I Order a mojito she says we dont have that. OK then schwepps. We don't have that too. So i asked her how can i know what you have? She started explaining by mouth they had only few drinks abs and not everything. so i got some juice. We were the only guests at the restaurant, all the tables were available, not a single guest .We said we will wait 30 minutes for the menu no problem. It was 12:15 when i asked again when the menu, and she started complaining to give her some space and time. We finally got the food and it was disgusting. The octopus was not cooked well it was the worst, and btw I love octopus. The toilet had no Key and the light was turning off completly dark there.very unpleasant visit. The waiter who served a table of obviously non-locals, complained to them in English, insulted and made fun of other customers, mimicking their russian accent. The waitress caressed a dog, went back inside and came out with food in an instant. No chance she washed her hands in between. While taking our order she carried on joking with local custumers. So she got annoyed when she didn't understand us. Can you believe that? After paying the bill the waiter just kept the change, just took it for granted. It was only 50 ct, but we really didn't want to tip. Not even 50 ct! Yes, the service was that horrible! Leaving, they didn't even say goodbye to us.
Fortunately the food was great. 5* for the kitchen. Though we couldn't really enjoy the food because we absolutely didn't feel welcome and comfortable at all. You can definitely get the same quality of food in another restaurant where the wait staff knows what it means to work in customer service and are not just trying to squeeze out the money of travelers...
