Cantinho do Petisco is a fantastic local gem in Lagos, especially if you’re looking for excellent fresh fish at very fair prices. The menu focuses on simple, well-prepared Portuguese dishes that let the quality of the ingredients shine, especially the grilled fish, which is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a mix of locals and travelers, and the service is friendly and efficient without being rushed. Portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get, making it one of the better-value spots in town.
It’s a great choice if you want an authentic, no-fuss meal that focuses on fresh seafood and traditional flavors. Arrive early or make a reservation if you can, it’s popular for good reason and fills up quickly...
