One of my favourite Lagos restaurants, definitely the true Portuguese experience. Confusing menu (a proper summery of Portugal), proper tradicional serving, really nice friendly staff that can easily lead you into a good fresh local fish and other products. It may seem that it isn't your comon tourist restaurant, because it definitely isn't, it it's a proper local's place so you have to know more or less what you want before you order. The racio of quality and price is definitely the best one around the city. About 15 mins walking from D. Ana beach and even closer to other beaches, you won't find prices like this with this fresh products anywhere in Portugal close to the beach. Also it's a local restaurant, owned by people that also work there, it's a place you should support when coming here, to support the locals that stay...

The steak on a stone was awesome. A massive cut of meat on a sizzling hot stone that you can cook to your own preference, complete with 2 sauces, sea salt, and garlic. Pretty decent cut for the price. We were quite impressed!
Service was lovely and the atmosphere is friendly. Very local. I can't wait for next time, to try the coffee and...
Read moreEvery time i went - i went a lot - they pulled out a new dish, so i ended up trying some stuff never before. Lovely people working, the bar is full of crazy locals, and no music, but constantly buzzing with life in the evenings. I like this place, and most the drinks, and food are cheap and fair quality. Scampi is great, squid, fish was good if you like that, "bife na pedra" was a really interesting thing i never saw, "moelas" too. Soup every day i went, and their freshly squeezed orange juice is cheap as hell. It's also open LATE. they got simple great desserts. Good for some...
