One of the friendliest and most personal dining experiences I have ever had. The food was absolutely incredible, and the service couldn’t have been better. The pricing was also more than reasonable. Luis welcomed us as if we were family on arrival, after we made a reservation through WhatsApp (The number is +351 910 571 011). The whole experience from beginning to end was very personal and endearing. We were spoken to on a first name basis, as well as everyone else in the restaurant. Luis, one of the 2 owners - the other being the chef - was extremely pleasant and was delighted to spill his knowledge on whatever we asked about. He made great recommendations which were specific to our situation and tastes, after getting to know us a little bit. At no point did we feel rushed or under any sort of pressure to order or finish. It was all done at a go with the flow pace. We saw that Luis was just as helpful to the other customers and even gave advice on how to eat and enjoy certain dishes. We started off with sangria; made fresh with a twist, it was genuinely the nicest sangria I have ever had, and my girlfriend felt the same way. It didn’t last long. We ordered: Roasted pork cheeks in red wine gravy, meat balls, Pica Pau, spiced onion rings, and tempura green beans. Notably: The meat in all cases was very tender. The pork felt like it melted as you bit down into it. The pica pau was bursting with flavour (as was everything else), and the tempura green beans were in a world of their own. The entire experience was amazing, and we left completely satisfied with full bellies, feeling like we had made a new friend. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and I will be coming back here every time I visit Lagos. I’m excited to introduce my friends to this place in future.

No idea what this high rated restaurant is about. Arrived there to a message that said that you need to reserve through WhatsApp... not mentioned on their website anywhere or on google. As everyone is aware tourists need to walk around everywhere to get to a little restaurant. Arrived there, man at door who greeted us after 10 minutes was extremely extremely rude. Mentioned as it says on the sign we're booked fully. You need to boot brought WhatsApp. How the heck would we know that when it's not mentioned on google or their website? Wonder if their food is as horrible as their service. On a good note, there are plenty of other tapas places around the area that are good if not better than this restaurant in terms of service and I'm sure food as well. ******************** In response to the owners response, how is somebody supposed to know that a restaurant only takes reservations via WhatsApp? Especially if it's not listed anywhere? It's poor customer service! Also the restaurant had empty seats!! The owner can be as mad as he likes, the platform is open for people to voice their concerns and provide a fair review. If someone is not satisfied or has a poor experience, they have every right to stage their experience openly and without any bias. Not to mention, the guy at the door was rude! Also if you read through the poor ratings provided by customers, they all mention that he is rude!!! Don't talk down to your customers, it's really ignorant.

We had the following tapas: Shrimp in Garlic with Piri Piri Ribs in Barbecue sauce Mussels Each one of them was very very tasty. I would recommend shrimps. It's a bit spicy so beware if you don't like spice. The ambience is very clean and comfortable. The service is very nice and welcoming. Luis - the waiter was very friendly. He offered us complimentary Port too as it was Easter. They open only for dinner. Book in advance as they are usually full. Food Quality: 5/5 Value for Money: 5/5 Staff Attitude: 5/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Overall Experience: 5/5

Getting a table during covid does require a booking as they are incredibly strict regarding how many they seat which is to be applauded, so if you can't get in book for another night as you will not be disappointed. The whole experience was exceptional, the service is 2nd to none and the guy running the front of house is friendly warm and really knows the dishes and the wines. This place advertises as tapas though the word tapas does not do justice to the small exceptional plates of food that they serve, if this place was fancier and the food presented with more flourish they could easily charge double for every dish. Please do not think this is a criticism as it is not, it is amazing food served in simple surroundings, I make this point to explain how good the food is, the guy in the kitchen and out front must own the place as the love they put into what they recommend and serve is evident in every bite. We're in Lagos for 10 days and we've eaten here twice and are back again this evening for our third visit and wait to try the remaining dishes and see what the specials are. Another worthy mention is the house red wine, for less than 10 euros a bottle I can honestly say I have never had a better bottle of house wine. As a couple who thinks of themselves as foodies, we truly take our hats off to you, we've had multiple good meals in Lagos and your restaurant is up there with the best and considering your half the price or less than other great Lagos restaurants then thar explains why you deserve to be no1 on TripAdvisor. I lived in Barcelona for many years and I've never had better tapas, you've taken a Spanish concept and taken it to the next...
