This is definitely the best all around restaurant experience of my life šŸ‘šŸ˜. From the moment we walked in the front door, we were greated with open arms from the owner, the serving staff and the chef (friendly, warming and food lovers looking to share their amazing food with others). It honestly felt like we had known the staff for years.

The appetizers, main course and desserts were all 10/10 imo. Just an insanely incredible meal We had the beat root carpaccio and chicken satay with homemade peanut sauce which had a perfect touch of heat. That was just the beginning. Next we had had the pistachios pesto and burrata pasta as well as the truffle and mushroom pasta which were out of this world with smell, taste and flavor (the chef said "Imagine a world without truffles). Seriously life changing truffle pasta dish, I cannot recommend enough. My wife said the pesto pasta was cooked to perfection and delicious. This whole time of eating and drinking we were checked on by staff to ensure we were happy (which was a tastebud understatement). We ended with the mint sorbet with olive oil (it is like party in your mouth) and the tiramisu with cookie base - they both were mind blowing 🤯 and if my stomach would allow i would have had seconds. We chatted with the chef and owner afterwards who were so very kind and had us wanting to come back the next day. Sadly we didn't book in time, so make sure to book online early in the day or a day previous to ensure you make it for this experience.

I'm a serious foodie and this place is the top spot in Lagos for sure.

Ty kindly from Scott...

My daughter and I are in the midst of a month-long tour of Europe, and this has been the best meal and experience so far - in fact, one of the best meals ever . . . Read on for details. :)

5-STAR SERVICE: From the moment we stepped into this cozy and inviting space, we were treated like family. It felt like we were sitting down at a favorite aunt's table. Behind the scenes, the chef prepared top notch dishes from the bruschetta appetizer to dessert. The lovely owner and another young lady serving us were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive.

5-STAR CUISINE: The bruschetta was the perfect combination of flavorful toasted bread and fresh herb-infused, tender tomatoes bursting with flavor. Then, we were served decadent, and perfectly prepared pasta dishes. I loved my Pasta Alla Norma, and then there was the Tagliatelle Funghi E Tartufo (pasta with truffles and mushrooms). This masterpiece was without question, the best dish we've ever tasted.

When we didn't think it could get any better, we nearly cried over the apple danish dessert and life-changing mint sorbet (drizzled with olive oil!). I will forever remember the silky smooth texture and the bright, fresh flavor.

We were so thrilled with our experience we asked for a photo with the owner, chef, and server, and they enthusiastically agreed. It was a night we will...

This place has swiftly become my favourite restaurant in Lagos. Yes, the food is fab… yes, the ambience is lovely - but for me, what makes this place head and shoulders above everywhere else is the sense of warmth. Eating here feels like being welcomed into a (stylish) friends’ place for dinner - it’s relaxed, unpretentious, unhurried, cosy and filled with personality. Rarely do you get a sense of those who own a restaurant from the experience you have there - but that happens in this place.

Some of that personality comes from the kindness you experience from the front of house staff, and the friendly chat from the chef who pops out of the kitchen to check in with the tables through the evening. Some of it comes from the craft of the food (handmade pasta! Wow). Some of it is the incredible flavour balance in every dish and drink. Everything feels intentional, the details have been focused on and it’s done so well.

I’ve brought friends here time and time again in the last few months and every time it has been utterly memorable, and has left them talking about it for days after. In fact, I think they’ll always associate this place with their holiday memories.

This is a restaurant to slow down, savour and let the experience wash over you. In my opinion, this is what hospitality should feel like. I can’t wait for...

Simply awesome! An eclectic selection of carefully curated menu items from different parts of the world artistically crafted to satisify the palate without a hint of annoying a very sensitive gut. Let’s just say, I walked in with a very unhappy belly from the previous night’s meal from a restaurant in Lisboa, and the owners Claudia and Broder, quickly tended to my needs with a cup of brewed tea from freshly picked mint, and then proceeded to satisfy the palate of both my husband (who luckily does not share his wife’s annoyingly sensitive gut) and me with housemade foccacia (I’m a baker… and just loved the bread and our conversation about fermentation) and appetizers of tzatiziki & flatbread, and the best chicken satay we’ve ever had in our nearly 40 years together. My pasta with tomato sauce, eggplant and salted ricotta was spot on, as was my husband’s pasta with housemade sausage. The mint sorbet with the secret topping.. left us delighted and surprised. We topped off the night with a toast with the hosts of housemade apertivo…lemoncello and some sort of bitters for Mz. Sensitive Stomach. We left perfectly satisfied, slept well, and woke up with nay a belly ache. I would love a repeat of the evening, but they are on holiday for a few days. We will be back on our next trip from NY/NJ. Until next time….
