VERY BAD RESTAURANT!

First, didn't want to serve me while seeing me alone waiting outside, only coming when seeing another couple waiting.

-Second, CHARGED ME for THINGS I DID NOT ORDER! I ONLY Order soups for starting and the main course is grilled prawns. END UP BRINGING ME 🦪 OYSTERS. I kept asking them if this is my order, and I told them three times that I ordered soup only. They keep saying soups is coming later and confirmed that oysters were coming together with the soup when I asked one more time if it is the correct order. When I paid I asked what it that, and they said it is “...” in Portuguese, I asked if it was the oysters and I told them I didn't order oysters, I ordered the soups and kept asking if the oysters is coming together with the soups and you said yes. The waiter keeps saying it's my order I ordered it. I replied I can pay you now, but I am telling you I didn't order the oysters!

Thirdly, the waiters were bad while recommending me. He told me if I was willing to pay two people then can have the most popularr/well known dishes of the restaurant. I laughed, ofc no. So he started to introduce me to other meals. For this point, I feel they only want you to order the more the better!

So yeah, I ended up paying extra when I didn't order it, although I do like the food. But after ending up paying extra money while I totally didn't order the food, I was so disappointed about this service and the restaurants.

The food is nice. Its seafood buffet. But the service wasn't a nice experience. One kind of seafood in our plate was missing. We asked the waiter. He said they don't have it today. Later I saw that seafood from other table and I confronted with the waiter. He explained that my friend and I arrived too early and the restaurant didn't have that seafood at that time. Oh, really?! :( And when it arrived, when we asked for refill, it didn't occur to you that u should tell the customers that the seafood arrived ? :(

The restaurant promot itself as seafood buffet and it is free to refill. But to truly get the refill, it's difficult. I asked for a refill for one kind of seafood, waiter A said: let's me call my colega. No one came to our table. I asked a waiter B. Waitor B said: let me call my colega. Waiter C Waiter D Same response. ......Several times later, I felt like they were playing pi ingpong. This seems like their strategy not to give customer food by delaying all the refill order. I got disappointment and asked for complaining book. They finally brought some food to our table.

When we finished dinner, I asked for the bill and the complaint book. Of course the book didn't come. When I walked pass the waiter who I asked for the complaint book, he said he brought to me already. :| My Portuguese friend replied to the waiter in Portuguese that he didn't bring any book to us. He said: let me ask...

This is a review of the €28.50 per person (minimum 2 persons) seafood platter. This is the only offer that is 'eat as much as you like' on the menu. Once finished just ask for more of any one or more of the individual dishes and it is served promptly without question. Note... This does not apply to the other slightly lower priced seafood and fish platters.

We pondered long and hard about giving 5 stars as the service was excellent however a couple of points held us back.

Firstly the Percebes were not served on our plate despite being on the offer and the server promising us he would teach us how to eat them however we did eat fourteen oysters between two persons so we don't feel too robbed.

Being very garlic tolerant and appreciating the rich deep flavours possible from Portuguese olive oil and piri piri more was possible in the sauces of the prawns and mussels but appreciate that the restaurant needs to and has found a balance of appeal to the tastes of many nationalities.

All in all a 4.5 from us which unfortunately we can't submit but highly recommended nevertheless, we will...
