You have to come here! A quaint and cozy place. Holds maybe a handful of people. Very nice décor and delicious pastries to match! Their pasteis are based off of a family recipe and the current owner also adds his own twist like adding pomegranate seeds. The pomegranate adds a great sweet and tart combination to the pasteis. The pasteis itself looks familiar but taking a bite makes you recognize the subtle differences in texture and taste. A very well balanced treat! Dare I say it, better than pastel de Nata. It's more of a short crust pastry, is slightly salty and the filling is made with bread and it's absolutely delicious.

Wish I had bought this home as a gift as opposed to 6 pastel de nata.
