A Goan restaurant in Lisbon, did sound interesting for someone with deep ties to Goa.
The restaurant is located not far from the central action packed area of Lisbon although in a less busy alley. It’s run by a family from Panjim, so it was authentic Goan food.
The decor is bit dated and setup is surely 15-20 years old, at least looks that way. The place was fairly occupied by clients, many of them regulars.
The menu was not elaborate but had few things for everyone. We ended up ordering some fish, prawns and pork based dishes.
The food was quite good, very much like home cooking in Goa, to that’s a 👍, though in my opinion the serving size was small for the price.
Service was fine, slightly slower than we are used to, but that’s part of Portugal and Goa !

The food was very good and full of authentic Goan flavours. Here’s what I tried:
Samosas – very fresh and tasty (5/5)
Prawns Fry – cooked with recheado masala, absolutely delicious (5/5)
Pork Chilly Fry – flavourful and well-prepared (4/5)
Crab Xec Xec – rich and satisfying (4/5)
Sanna – soft, fresh, and perfect with the dishes (5/5)
He even serves Feni, if you’d like to enjoy a traditional Goan touch.
