Bullguer — Restaurant in Lisbon

The food was OK but the service does not deserve even one star: never going to repeat or recommend to anyone. Time of visit - 1 a.m., November 24.

Two Super burgers and fries were not ready after half an hour (preparation time announced on the board - 12 minutes, the venue was not busy due to late hour); we went in to check on the status of order.

If anything goes wrong and the guest wants to know when the food is expected, a simple acknowledgment of the delay, an updated estimate, or an apology can go a long way, but the employee at the cashier desk made the situation as bad as possible and turned it into an open conflict. I've never seen anything like this, regardless of the establishment's type or the time of visit. His tone and choice of words was absolutely unacceptable.

Dear management team, if your employee is using arguments like "Personally me - I find a delay normal", followed by "If you have something to say about the service time - do you really want to eat food that I'll serve you after?", maybe it's time to change something in your customer...

We ordered the shibuya burger medium done and a regular burger well-done, with a shake and a lemonade. The service was awful, it seemed like the communication in the kitchen was just not functioning at all during our visit. After 25 minutes of waiting on our order I went up to the counter to ask what was going on, given that the people who ordered after us had already received their food. It took them another minute to get to me, and after some discussion among them they said our order got scrambled in a wrong list. They said they would get us our food in a few minutes. Meanwhile a lot of uber eats orders were getting priority over ours and other in house customers. I asked if we could at least get our drinks right now while we wait for our food, but that took them another 10 minutes to get only one of us the ordered drink. It would take another 25 minutes before we got the full order, which had burgers that were practically raw.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to BULLGER! The beef is sourced from Ireland and ground fresh daily, and you can really taste the difference. My burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of flavor; the brioche bun was so soft and fresh. The fries were crisp, nicely seasoned, and just the right companion to the burger. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better.
