Don’t trust pictures - they’re not always true.
I don’t even know how to start. We arrived to the “suite” late in the evening and found out that it was a box on the ground floor with only one door / window, which leads to the street. There was no air and the only option to ventilate this place was a fan, which we had to use constantly - without it we couldn’t breathe. It’s really humid inside, everything was kinda wet - even bedsheets and toilet paper. We were shocked and I thought to search for another place, but it would be a pity to lose our money at all, also, it was already late. Next point is noise. I felt really unsafe in this apartment, because you hear people all the time and you start feeling that someone is going to enter (on the 2nd night someone started to knock on our door at 2 am). You also hear everything from upstairs, because the floor is very squeaky and during all day you hear how people walk in their room. More than that, there were rubbish bins next to our wall, which were taken every morning with many hits and bams. In the description it says “soundproof”, but we had the whole sound experience. The location is central, but it’s right next to bars and restaurants, so you see a lot of drunk and homeless people wandering around and it doesn’t feel too good, if you’re not in the mood for going out. I expected to have more tools / space for cooking, but we had only shaking table and a couple of plates. Another surprise was to find cockroaches, but at least it happened in the end of our staying. We paid for a hotel and got a hostel instead. We felt such a relief, when we left it. Wouldn’t return there...
Read moreLets start.||1. Breakfast. It's not real breakfast. For 2 adulr every morning they served 2 teabags, 2 slices of cheapest bread, 2 slices of cheapest ham and 2 slices of cheese. So if you want normal brekfasfast you have to make it by yourself with your own produce. They even didn't have coffee machine just cheapest Nescafe. (I wanna notice than there is a small grocery store close to the house and real bread costs not more then 2 euro, and meat and cheese also really cheap.||2. Noise. In a description you can read "soundproof". Totaly lies! Extremely noisy neighborhood with people screaming and singing until 5 am, which makes difficult to sleep. The windows don't block the noise. We hadn't sleep at all for 3 nights and this fact totally affects our mood. After first night we asked for another room and got some just for one night. So it was nightmare! Every night! Sounds like party exactly in your room. When I calld the owners at 2 am I was crying because it was 4-th night when I didn't sleep and they told me "If you dont'l like it you can move out. Good night." They always say "It's a city center and noises it's not our responsobilities!". But you promise soundproof! Do you know what does that world mean?||3. Communication. They didn't send me any information about all-night parties on a street. nd don't belive description!||4. Room. It charming. Just for first hours. After that your realise that it's really old and small and has awful pillows and...
Read morePLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE We booked the Double deluxe (or whatever it's called) Do NOT trust the pictures you see online! The place lacks any sort of ventilation, except for the window in the door (which you will never open for the sake of peace and quiet) so it's always insanely humid, even the bedsheets were damp and had the smell of mold. The entrance/door is on the ground floor and leads directly onto the street - so, obviously, there was a lot of noise from drunk tourists outside and the local homeless population. Also, the building has a "great" surround system sound - you can hear every word, step and every single move of your neighbors upstairs, on the left and on the right. Although not in direct correlation, someone came knocking on our door at 2AM while we were asleep - needless to say, we did not feel safe sleeping and leaving our things at this... place. The place is located NEAR the city center, you still have to walk there through all the bars and drunks and other interesting characters.
Finally, the "hotel" lacks the facilities listed in the ad provided by the owner. We wanted a room with AC - we got a fan. The ad stated that there was a toaster - the toaster wasn't there. There is an absolute minimum of kitchenware (some cups, 2 spoons and knives, 3 plates and that's about it)
Forgot to add that there was a cockroach in our room when we came back one evening, but that's the least surprising thing out...
