This place is honestly a hidden gem in Lisbon. We found it while looking for a good Indian restaurant in Lisbon. It was right off of pink street a bit hidden and not very busy at all but that may have just been the timing of when we went. They have a special menu that is not really promoted heavily but it is served daily unlit 7PM. The special menu includes your choice of Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Mix Vegetables, or Veg Korma. Along with white rice + Naan and a drink (Soft drink or beer) for only 10€. Me and my girlfriend both got the butter chicken and a side of garlic naan to split. Our final bill was 26€ and we were genuinely stuffed and the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place and it should be getting way more business than it does. Very authentic feel inside the restaurant and staff was so friendly and helpful. We actually went here twice during our 10 day stay because it was...
Read moreI went to this restaurant several times and I was always very satisfied with the food and service until last Saturday. The food was good, but when the time to pay arrived, me and my friend decided to split the bill in two. We were supposed to pay 27e each. I didn't make sure the amount was right on the machine or the ticket, but when I checked my bank account the next day I realized that they made me pay 54e. I paid an extra 27e so I sent an email to the restaurant since I live pretty far. I thought they would check their receipts and send me a refund but I got no answer. I decided to go the next week and nicely asked for a refund. They got very defensive and told me that they always delete the receipts after 2 days. I don't know if that's true, since all the restaurants I worked at always keep the tickets to do the accounting. If you go there, make sure that you are paying the right amount or they won't give it...
Read moreI was there in the evening for some snacks and drinks, as one can see in the photos, onion bhaji was not at all like onion bhaji, the batter was raw from inside, it felt like we are eating raw gram flour (baisan) and such big pieces which made it difficult to fry properly from inside. Coconut lassi was very thick, I felt like I am eating sweet yogurt with coconut flakes. The service girl was okay, there was just one more table yet she was busy I dont know doing what 😅, she did not have the courtesy to say like enjoy your food, thanks, please, if everything is fine, you like it stuff like that. On top of that I noticed she was giving new setup on dirty tables only (my god). I myself come from gastronomy industry, this restaurant has so much potential but unfortunately I did not have good experience. The location is great, interior decor is amazing, nice sitting arrangement but food and service are not worth...
