The waiters don’t speak portuguese which is okay for me but not for people that don’t speak english (which is common in Portugal). They were nice overall since they understood that they noted a wrong order when the mistaken plate arrived at our table. Although…

The manager did not understand us at all. I suppose the right thing is to agree the mistake (“client is always right”) but he did not to do that. He tried until the end to make us believe that we were the ones that made the order wrong. He consistently argued with us trying to make his point through.

He, with a lot of irony, pretended that he did not comprehend my Brazilian portuguese. Using his european portuguese he corrected me while I did my order. Very disrespectful.

Overall, it wasn’t a good experience. I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times and I always maintained my idea that this was not a traditional mexican place and that is okay. The waiters hardly spoke portuguese and that is also okay. But today, with this man, I have come to the conclusion that I will never come to this...
