The food here was amazing and left full and satisfied, as well as having the amazing cocktails on happy hour. Yet our meal was ruined as a man sat at the table beside us shouting multiple inappropriate phrases to others across the street, trying to pick fights with the men walking by and lastly screaming disgusting remarks to passing women. Not only was he doing this to everyone who passed he then proceeded to approach myself and my boyfriend making very disgusting and uncomfortable remarks about me to him, all together being very rude and making multiple remarks like this. It ruined our whole vibe of the meal and we left as quickly as we could and went home. It’s ruined our whole day and left us feeling disgusted and angry as we couldn’t enjoy our meal or anymore cocktails which was the plan. It was so uncomfortable we left as quickly as we could. All together the food and staff were amazing but this one thing ruined it for us and I’m unsure if this man is a regular but they allowed him to continue to sit outside, brought him beers and let him shout this...

I had the vegitarian chimichanga which was very dry and had a strange asortment of veggies like cauliflower, came with on the plate one table spoon portion of beans, spoon of rice, spoon of guacamole with one sad tortilla chip sticking out of it. There was no salsa to be seen though they did offer me tabasco sause when I asked for salsa. The chimichanga cost 12.40. I really find it frustating to pay high prices for food that is just not very satisfying, feeling that I can make it better and with fresher ingredients in my own home. If it had been priced 7.50, I wouldn't have felt the need to leave a review, but I wouldn't have gone back. My partner had the beef chimichanga and he was also not impressed either and the table next to us had the enchalada and barely ate it. Nothing wrong with the service!...
Read moreI was surprised by how positive the reviews for this place were after our experience here. Certainly, the service was excellent - very helpful and patient and consistently enquired on whether they could help us with anything. The atmosphere is also fine - it's a hole in the wall dive which I am sure gets very lively later for dinner (we were eating relatively early). Their margarita was good (and v. strong). But the food was a disappointment. I had prawn tacos and while the filling was very tasty, the shells were stale or overcooked. The enchilada didn't have any enchilada sauce - was really just a baked burrito. Again - filling tasted fine but overall so-so. The dips were not good - looked largely to be straight out of the bottle. Definitely nothing authentic about it and I am sure it would be good in a pinch if you're craving Mexican but I guess I had my hopes up based on...
