Coffee & Crepe — Restaurant in Lisbon

Lovely place, music is calm and nice and the staff are so nice, really makes you feel comfortable, especially for Lisbon and the location. The crepes are amazing and the drinks are plentiful and excellent, perfectly balanced and fair price. The ridiculous starbucks has nothing on places like this, here they serve real drinks and with good prices, and the food is actually made with real ingredients. I wished there were more places like this, if I worked in the area I would come here every week minimum, just for the drinks alone. Also very well rounded menu, good for breakfast, brunch, desert, tea break and after work, you could come here even for lunch if you are more of a light eater. Couldn't recommend more! A delightful little place, where I was able to pop in for a cup of chamomile tea and a warm pastela de Nata as they are known - Portuguese small round pies with a soft yellow central part - quite delicious, served by a very pleasant and courteous young waitress. The place is open until 10 p.m., and though I left on time, I was under no pressure to leave before I was ready to do so. Price was very reasonable. Seating is available outside or inside, but with the door open I had the best of both worlds by being seated inside but very close to the entrance. In short, this place is overpriced for what it offers.

First, the service was chaotic. They got our order wrong, we asked for one large Americano and one small latte, but ended up with two small drinks. The Americano was awful; maybe I was lucky they messed it up.

Second, it took an unusually long time to prepare two very simple crepes, one with Nutella and one with a fried egg.

Third, the food was underwhelming. The crepe had an overpowering eggy smell that was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the savory crepe actually tasted better than the one with Nutella.
