Pretty average croquettes in the Time Out Market. We found the prices of the individual croquettes to be okay in the moment (€1.80/p), as it was our first time trying them in Lisbon, but we realized after we left that they are generally much cheaper. They do have some more interesting fillings compared to the traditional croquettes, but unique doesn't necessarily mean better tasting. All the filings tasted pretty similar to me, so I don't even remember which ones we ordered.

We got the €12 combo which included 3 croquettes of any flavor, 2 sides, and a beverage. We selected the salad and soup as the sides. While I think in general the value was good, the salad and soup did not taste good. The soup was probably the worst thing of all at the market - completely tasteless but salty. It was decent to try the croquettes but we had much better elsewhere. If you want a quick snack I wouldn't say no, plus I didn't find that the other restaurants at Time Out were amazing either, so try it...

TO AVOID and RUDE STAFF! COLD FOOD and expensive for the quality served.

After ordering I noticed that the food was cold (soup, croquetas and potatoes) and not crispy. I asked the restaurant to warm my food : they told me that they could not, and that after 5 min it was "normal" to eat cold food. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My request was simple, I did not wait even 5 min before noticing it was not warm. How can a restaurant refuse to serve warm food? The lady who attended me even threaten me to call the manager to talk to him - only because I asked them to warm a plate that was served cold... She did, and when this last one came I guess there was nothing to contest as he never came back to me while I was sitting next to them (finally eating...

The food here was OK but unfortunately that's where the good news ends. The female person working in the kitchen has done several things which are utterly unhygienic in the ten minutes we have been sat here. Firstly she was chewing a bottle cap and touched her mouth with the gloved hand she was using to touch the food. She then continued to check her phone on four occasions, then carried on preparing food without washing her hands. She then started eating with her hands whilst in the kitchen AND then put her fingers in her mouth to remove something from between her teeth. This is utterly unacceptable and has completely put me off your food. Either she needs a lot of training in food hygiene or you need...

We got croquettes from here inside the Time Out Market. They were a bit cold even though they were freshly made. We got 1 borrego and 1 edicao especial (10year special was arroz de polvo) with 2 cha frio. The total was €9,05. We weren't sure we got the right croquettes though when we tasted them. Nevertheless they tasted nice. Other options included a vegetarian goat cheese, fish ones (like cod and cuttlefish) and traditional ones like alheira and cozido a portugesa. The sides included sweet potato chips. We went around 8pm on a Wednesday in early September. There was no queue. In the busy Time Out food market there are a lot of food options to choose from. We decided to try some croquettes as we wanted a small snack. We ordered the meal which consisted of: 3 croquettes of our choice (traditional, cozido and the vegetable curry), 2 side dishes (sweet potato chips and creamed spinach) and a drink (beer) for 12 euro. My partner preferred the traditional option while I found the curry croquette tasted devine. They weren’t soggy or greasy, but a really good texture. The spinach tasted better than I was expecting especially when dipping the sweet potato. Overall a nice snack for our busy afternoon.
