Esquina da Fé — Restaurant in Lisbon

I was recommended to come here because I wanted Portugese food that’s not for the tourist. I did look at the menu before coming so I knew there were no English option. I took screenshots of the food pictures that I wanted to try in case. When I arrived, it was starting to get busy, about 8pm. There was only 1 server and it looks like only 1 chef. The server sat 6 tables after me so the restaurant was completely full. 3 of the tables that came in after me were served before he even took my order. I was willing to ignore that. I showed him the picture of what i wanted to eat when he did take my order. They do not take card....

We had two daily specials here and they were excellent , really tasty with generous portions. We also had water, a beer, and two desserts, and the total was only 30€. The value for money is just amazing.

The service was very kind, warm, and attentive. The place itself is spacious and quiet, unlike many smaller restaurants where you feel cramped next to other tables.

We’re from Barcelona, a city where you usually eat very well, and we were liked this place. Great food, great prices, and wonderful people.

We had a wonderful, authentic meal at Esquina da Fe for a very reasonable price. We had a table of 5, and we were seated quickly without a reservation.
