I had the delightful opportunity to visit Zenith Brunch and Cocktails during my recent trip to Lisbon. This popular establishment is well-known for its extensive menu, catering to a variety of tastes. As a brunch enthusiast, I eagerly anticipated the diverse options available. While my dining experience was highly enjoyable, I am uncertain whether I would specifically plan a future visit solely for this venue. Zenith's menu truly impressed me with its extensive selection, catering to various taste preferences and dietary restrictions. After perusing the options, I settled on the Eggs Zenith priced at 10€. This enticing dish consisted of two breaded poached eggs on sourdough toast, accompanied by crispy Serrano ham, avocado, crispy onion, chives, cherry tomatoes, and hollandaise sauce, served with a side of mixed greens. The combination of flavors was delightful, with the perfectly poached eggs and crispy elements creating a harmonious texture and taste experience. To complement my meal, I ordered a refreshing glass of orange juice and a serving of yogurt. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, providing a tangy and invigorating burst of citrus. The yogurt was creamy and smooth, offering a cool contrast to the savory components of the Eggs Zenith. While Zenith Brunch and Cocktails undoubtedly provides a satisfying dining experience, I must admit that I wouldn't go out of my way to specifically visit this spot on my next trip to Lisbon. While the food was enjoyable and the menu options were abundant, it lacked that exceptional factor that would make it a destination-worthy brunch spot. Nevertheless, for those already in the vicinity or seeking a good brunch option in Lisbon, Zenith is a solid choice.

Lisbon is packed with incredible restaurants, and during our trip we made it a mission to try as many as possible — from traditional tascas to modern bistros. But without question, Zenith was our absolute favorite. From the moment we arrived, we felt the welcoming energy and stylish atmosphere that makes Zenith stand out. It strikes the perfect balance between trendy and authentic — and the best part? It’s run by Portuguese locals who clearly care deeply about quality, service, and creativity. The menu was packed with crave-worthy dishes — vibrant, fresh, and beautifully presented. Whether it was the perfectly poached eggs over savory sweet potato toast, the decadent pancakes topped with fresh fruit and Nutella, or the bold brunch cocktails, every bite was a hit. The coffee was also some of the best we had in the city — smooth, rich, and made with care. Service was fast, friendly, and full of good vibes. Despite being popular (and busy for good reason), we never felt rushed. It was clear this place is beloved by both locals and travelers alike. As the Portuguese say: “Quem sabe, faz com alma.” – Those who know, do it with soul. And Zenith truly does it all with soul. We’ll be recommending this place to everyone we know heading to Lisbon — and we’ll absolutely be back!

Upon entering Zenith, I was instantly captivated by the contemporary ambiance, with its chic industrial design accentuated by cozy brick walls and lush hanging greenery. The space bustled with patrons, a testament to its popularity, yet it retained an intimate charm, perfect for both gatherings and quiet conversations. However, it’s worth noting that the service left a bit to be desired. While the place exudes warmth, the staff seemed somewhat detached and not as welcoming as one might expect from such a renowned establishment. As for the food, the presentation was as delightful as the flavors. The tacos I sampled had a savory richness, perfectly complemented by fresh herbs and zesty sauces. The addition of crispy chips and guacamole on the side was a delightful touch, making the dish not only delectable but visually appealing. The beverages too, served in rustic mason jars, added to the overall dining experience. In conclusion, while Zenith offers a harmonious blend of aesthetic appeal and culinary expertise, a touch more warmth from the staff could elevate the experience to truly exceptional levels. Nonetheless, it remains a spot I’d recommend, particularly for the quality of its dishes.

We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the floor manager spoke to us in a very authoritarian tone, telling us where we had to sit even though the restaurant was mostly empty.

The waiter then brought us the wrong order — we had asked for bagels and were served pancakes instead. When we politely asked for the dish to be corrected, he said he needed to check with the manager. She then came over and, once again, spoke to us in a rude and disrespectful manner, insisting that we had ordered the pancakes — which was absolutely untrue, and both of us clearly remembered our order.

We were shocked by the lack of professionalism and respect, and felt forced to leave without even eating. A truly unpleasant experience that we do not recommend. Thank you for your reply.

I understand the importance of organization in a restaurant, especially when it comes to cleaning and managing tables. However, I’d like to point out that there was no sign or indication asking customers to wait at the entrance before seating themselves. Given that the dining area was nearly empty, it felt completely natural to take a seat.

What truly ruined our experience, however, was the attitude of the floor manager. She spoke to us in a commanding and disrespectful tone, even going so far as to tell us to be quiet. She insisted the order was correct, despite the fact that she wasn’t present at the time it was placed.

Moreover, when we explained the mistake, she flatly refused to change the dish and showed no willingness to listen or de-escalate the situation. This kind of behavior is neither professional nor respectful.

I do appreciate your response and your intention to improve, and I sincerely hope that other guests will be treated with more warmth and attentiveness in the future. A welcoming attitude and good communication are key to creating a pleasant dining...
