A cozy vegan café with friendly staff and a cute atmosphere. They offer great breakfast, lunch, and pastries, including an amazing Portugees delicacy; pastel de nata. For lunch, we tried the no-chicken sandwich, the spinach & mushroom toastie, and of course, the pastel de nata. The sandwich and toastie were both good, but the pastel de nata was the highlight— amazing! The menu has lots of vegan options at reasonable prices, though I noticed many dishes relied on vegan cheese rather than exploring creative plant-based options. There was a lot to choose from and if I had been in Lisbon longer I would have come back again to try the other pastries. I got the no-chicken bagel sandwich and an iced latte. Both were good! Iced latte was on the small side but fine. Read moreThe pastel de nata, vegan pastel de nata, is incredible!!!!! I made the mistake of only getting one my first day in Lisbon. I went back the next day and ordered four of them. They were given warm and while I couldn’t eat them right away, they were INCREDIBLE when at room temperature so I’m sure they are even more amazing when given fresh.
You order at the small counter and then may at the counter by the shoes. They even had a chocolate cake that looked divine- wish I got a slice of that too but the pastel de nata was what I really wanted again.
