Seventh Brunch — Restaurant in Lisbon

The worst treatment right before seating in the table, which made the whole experience already terrible and I didn’t even stay

There’s a clear sign at the door that says “wait to be seated”

I take two steps on to feel the place because it’s a hot day and because I thought it was a well decorated and wanted to take pictures.

Clearly the staff in his terrible manners making the coffee inside rudely shouts “ YOU HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE”… which anyone can read and understand what it means

I took 2 steps inside, TWO! in a empty space that wasn’t even bothering anyone, I didn’t seat, I didn’t even push a chair or showed any sign of be going to choose a table on my own, I went in to take pictures and feel how hot it was, and end up being treated that way.

Felt embarrassed for bringing my guests here since I had such an amazing experience in the other unit.

Wow. I have so many things to say about Seventh Brunch. Honestly my best restaurant experience thus far. Not only is it great food and drinks at an amazing price, but also has superb service. But that is not it! To take it a step further they are a family of their word. After receiving Amazon brunch, I noticed they had pictures of Old Hollywood, including one of my favorite actress, Audrey Hepburn! Once I saw it I asked if I could buy it from them 🤣. Then they said no! But that they would send me my own picture to my summer house in Paris! They sent it, and unfortunately it ended up being sent back to them. I made one last attempt to send them my United States address, and they said yes! I received the picture today, and it meant so much to me, and will always be a special moment. I hate to say it but I’m not sure what all the hype is about.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and some of the decor was nice, although it was very impractical: I sat on one of the high tables in the window and the hanging lights were so low I kept hitting my head. Vibes over comfort, for sure.

The pancakes looked amazing and tasted good but were stone cold. I was alone and felt too shy to ask for them to be heated. It was weird because I was the only customer and they came very quickly so I can’t understand how they got cold unless they’d been cooked earlier and just left out in the side until I ordered them. It was disappointing.

For €10, I’d expect hot food.

The food and staff were nice but I wouldn’t come back again. I’m sure there are many nicer places to go for brunch in Lisbon and I’m sad that I wasted one of my opportunities on this place...
