Hamburgueria do Bairro (São Sebastião) — Restaurant in Lisbon

I was a regular at one of the outlets of this hamburger restaurant, so I felt it was a safe choice. But I was shocked that the quality of the burger seems to have dropped while the price has drastically increased by around 30%!! These are not gourmet burgers, but now, they are asking gourmet prices. We had a Piri Piri and an Ali Baba, and while the main burger was central, the salad and accompaniments were very shy and timid... in fact, we had to search inside the burger to see them at all. The quality would need to increase also, but it seems to have gone the other way. I doubt I will return now to a place which was once a preferred one. We had 4 different hamburgers and all of them were perfectly cooked and with different flavors. I would recommend the piri piri one if you like spicy food. I loved that they make a cut in the bottom bun to put the Vegetables I found it amazing. I always try both normal french fries and the sweet potatoe ones and in this case I will only recommend the normal ones. The sweet potato were too thick and not crunchy at all. This is by far the best burger place I've been to in Lisbon. In addition to having some amazing monthly burger concoctions they also have a student menu at Lunch. For 5.50 Euros you can get a cheeseburger with fries when you provide your student card. Definitely recommended for the budget-conscious and quality-conscious student consumer.
