My Terrible Experience : My thrid time going to the restaurant, and the experience this time specifically was terrible for me. I was given the menu and sat there for more than 20 minutes without anyone attending me. I literally stared at the waiter for 10 minutes straight but they were too busy to notice me. Maybe because I went on 1st November a festival day, this happened, but I don't think this is too relevant. Anyways, I asked the waiter who eventually came to me whether the Robokki is spicy, he answered me "Not very spicy, it's NORMAL". Because he gave me this vague answer, I thought it isn't spicy and maybe a just a bit of spicy like it is for black pepper, but it was not. It was pretty spicy! Not only am I not used to eating spicy, I was SICK that day. If only he told me that it is spicy, not giving me such objective answer, I would've ordered something else. While eating the dish, I really felt uncomfortable and l was sweating so much while I eat. I don't get any water because I don't want to pay another 1.5€ as a broke student.
Waiter: So there are 3 waiters, one is more experienced and provides nice services. But I didn't really happy younger waiter and the middle east looking waiter, and either they work too slow or 3 waiter is definitely not enough.
Noodles: I tried 2 types of noodles, Robokki and Jajangmyeon, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the price. The sauce is good, but It's like instant noodle with better sauce. Not that the noodle tasted bad, but it's so bland. It is basically eating the sauce with some food but not enjoying the food with some sauce. Didn't make me satisfied after eating the noodles, or even make me regret spending 12€ and 14€ on the dishes respectively.
Rice: I really enjoyed the rice though. I ate chibap. I would definitely return for this dish. The Chicken in the dish was really tasty. I think you can order Chibap according to the "Menu Almoço" for 13€ with a drink on top of that (Usually 14€) But I am not specifically sure, the waiter didn't tell me that last time when I ordered Chibap. If it true, I'm glad it is cheaper but at the same time disappointed at the waiter for not letting me...
Read moreThis restaurant the food is amazing and the owner is very kind, but I believe they don't no know some social aspects that their staff do that doesn't follow accordingly. First of all, most of the times when I arrive there staff usually tell me that they're fully booked at Wednesday and Tuesday afternoon. Most of the times I arrive there exactly at the opening time and they still tell me that. It is, indeed, hard to believe that the restaurant is fully booked for an entire 12 to 3:30PM. Most of the times, I go to the next shop wait for 2 hours to see and the restaurant looks quite empty. It is ludacris to believe, that the staff sends people away to avoid 1h or 30 minute extra work when that's the job ! I end up go to your rival Most of the times because I lose 2/3 hours waiting for you and seoul dessert opens at 3:30pm and it is the only other korean option available. If people is booking and it is not coming then it is a issue that must be solve internally, but keep declining business to wait for whom does not come is not good for customers either that decided to go there, even after a lot of worktime. If people really want to go like me to KBOB I believe we don't mind to pay a deposit... but rejecting your customers to have an empty restaurant for an entire Tuesday Wednesday Thursday lunch time I doubt that the owner knows about it. In the restaurant business there is always a solution. Not even an option of " if you eat in 35m because we are fully booked for X time" but no. Seoul dessert have got me all the time because you are always busy or fully booked and , yes, I also call around 11:00am no one picks the phone either. Hard to believe you are always fully booked. 6th time this situation happens, honestly I feel afraid to arrive there and be fully booked again, and every time I try to forgive you and go always happens like that. The food is delicious and I am glad that you are always busy and fully booked if...

This was, hands down, the most disappointing and upsetting experience. We were so excited to be able to eat Korean in Portugal, and thought the high ratings meant it would be authentic. It was not.
Since we read some mixed reviews, we decided to play it safe and not immediately go for the bulgogi or bibimbap- it’s pretty hard to screw up fried chicken, right?
First, the appetizer we ordered was ok, nothing we’d ever seen before, not Korean, but nothing to complain about.
Then came the Korean Fried Chicken : we got two different types, one of them the Yangnyeom was supposed to be the spicy one. It says PICANTE. It was not. Instead, we were met with a disgusting CINNAMON flavor. So much, it was like a cinnamon challenge! We did not finish this. The other flavor was just as inauthentic - mediocre in flavor, and it only tasted good in the parts that had no sauce.
For dessert, we saw someone else had mochi, so we ordered 2. Usually, mochi has either azuki bean in the middle, or ice cream. These had some sort of gross oil- based frosting on the middle. It was warm and fluffy in one and dense in the other. It was NOT cream cheese flavor, either, it just tasted like oily , flavorless frosting. So gross!!!
We did not finish any of the items we ordered, except the appetizer and small kim chi (ok) accompaniment.
We both started feeling ill after eating the cinnamon challenge chicken and barely were able to make it home before we both were throwing up.
TO AVOID! NOT KOREAN...
