WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! If you guys are into a very bland food, the most embarrasing service you'll ever get, uncooked fish...Well, first, you should see a doctor about it. Later on, you can just drop by this terrible restaurant. I live few minutes walking from this restaurant, and while passing by, it always seems full and people are enjoying themselves...or are they? i think the reviews will reveal otherwise. Went there for a dinner on Saturday evening, and the waiter, a mature man, projected disdain from the first moment. I wasn't sure what to order and eventually took one of the beef dishes. My girl ordered a Tuna steak, and it arrives raw. We thought, "mmm, probably a busy service and the cook miscalculated the cooking time..." we called the waiter, he was walking towards us in a very...mmm, how should i put it? Determined, and before we even said anything, he took the fish back to the kitchen! as if he knew what we gonna tell him! My dish arrived, and it was absolutely disgusting. I called him, and my girl explained him my thoughts about the dish. He looked very unpleased, turned to the table next to us (a family with kids) who ordered the same dish, and asked them (in Portuguese): "is it not tasty? Ha?" The family were so embarrased, but said, with a complete shock and confusion on their faces, "No, it's good". He took my plate, and threw the menu towards me, as if he was "marking" me for the rest of the evening. Eventually, we asked for the bill, and he removed that dish from it. But it doesnt matter. And i know what you think, Agrown up man, frostrated of his job, but...Do you care of every service giver personal life? I didnt knew about the Livro de reclamações but im not gonna skip it as well (google it for more options)/ Please! stay away of this place, and warn everyone you...

Located near the São Sebastião Metro stop, O Tacho is a clean and simple restaurant. The handwritten menu, updated daily, offers a variety of specialties. The food is generally good, though many dishes were unavailable during our dinner, requiring us to change our orders several times. I tried the Bifinha cebolada, which was decent but unremarkable. The caramel cheesecake was quite good, though the topping had an unusual taste. At 20 € per person, it felt a bit pricey for the quality and selection. Overall, a nice spot but could use some improvements in availability and...

This is not my first time here. Usually the vibe is very positive and the waiters try their best to be welcoming. But not this time... one of them (older, bald) waiter was frowning all the time. When i asked him "fala englais" he just yelled "No!" And turned away. Then i got seated and almost nothing was available except salmon. So i ordered that, served well (nothing special) and then there was an argument happening with them in the restaurant infront me. Even though im not fluent, i could understand basics.

This was a...

Excellent place! The hostess is really nice. The menu is entirely in Portuguese, which is usually a good sign. She helped me choose a dish, and let me tell you... it did not disapppoint me. I got a meal named Prato Carne, which is basically roasted chicken like your mama makes it. Huge portion size, really delicious. Glad I visited this place during my short time here in Lisbon.

Thanks to the incredibly welcoming and friendly waitress, I had a great night dinning alone. Despite what I originally wanted was not on the menu today, I still enjoyed a big time with the octopus salad and grilled sea-fish(comes with broth-cooked potato and greens). Would definitely want to come back to eat again next time I visit Lisbon.
