Inhaca — Restaurant in Lisbon

This was our favorite restaurant in Lisbon, we came back multiple times. The food is authentic and fresh, and most importantly Portuguese owned. Everything on the menu is delicious, you can’t really go wrong. Ask the servers for their recommendation if you can’t decide, they are warm and friendly and always happy to help you. We met several folks whom we encountered again on other days that we came, the mark of a great restaurant! If you are looking for an authentic experience please come support this place. From our group of 4 none of the meals gave “food” any real justice! Sardines were very average with a side tomato salad which came with a bit of onion and no dressing, T bone steak; no “T-bone”! a small steak which was thicker than the T-bone, asked for M to well done, came M-R and the “house” Cod over was over cooked in old oil, bones in every fork, smothered in mayonnaise, not gratin, not edible! Just another tourist trap, be aware prices are different when your bill comes than on the menu. No menu with drinks prices that's why you overpay the drinks and dish that was priced at 9euro they changed on the bill 11euros plus they add some service price which I wouldn't mind paying if service is ok. I guess this was my punishment as waiter argued with me for next table asking me how was the chicken and I said it's not good. I ordered grilled chicken piri piri, I got just oven baked chicken with tons of oil and no spice at all, normal fries and poor salad on the side.
