Went to this restaurant tonight craving a taste of Italian food. We were seated promptly and given menus. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone came back to our table. We gave our order for both our bottle of wine and our food thinking this might be the best thing to do given our wait time. I should mention the restaurant was not busy. The waiter brought our water and wine after a few minutes. We did not get the bread and olives that seemed to be served to all the other tables. Our food came in good time but was delivered by another staff member who was very nice.

The food was good but it still a mystery to us as to why some restaurants feel the need to leave the head and shells on shrimp when it is served in a dish. There is no easy way to remove this other than sticking your hands in your dinner to remove the stuff that is inedible. If you can’t eat it - it does not belong in your dinner!

No one came to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything else. We finished our meal and were nearly finished our bottle of wine the waiter came and collected our plates but his only comment was “finished” and left again. No query - would you like dessert or anything else. We finished our wine and sat there until we flagged our waiter to ask for our bill. He proceeded to wait on three other tables before he brought the bill to our table - again no comment or conversation. We paid cash because we did not fell we wanted to wait for him to get around to bringing the credit card machine.

The food was good but the service was atrocious- I have never had such poor service...

It's OK. Good prices but you don't get a lot of food, so if you're not so hungry it's perfect. I ate pasta with salmon and there was five small bits of salmon and they were full of bones. I had three bones in each little bit. Not what you expect when the salmon is in small bits in a sauce. (It's another thing if you order a whole piece of salmon, then I expect bones.) My husband had the gnocchi which was good, but had no protein, so luckily he wasn't so hungry. One of our kids had the pizza and that was good with a lot of stringy cheese. So it's a decent budget place, but nowhere you go if you want to eat really good food or if you're hungry.

The service depends a lot on your waiter. I was there once with a great waiter who was very nice, but this last time one waiter was very stressed and the other one was talking to his friend on the street, until the friend saw that we wanted attention and told the waiter to...
