Disappointing Dining Experience at Jhol Momo and Restaurant As a patron of Jhol Momo and Restaurant, I must express my disappointment with the overall quality of the dining experience. Despite the restaurant's aesthetically pleasing interior, my recent visit left much to be desired in terms of food and service.

First and foremost, the beverage selection failed to meet expectations. I initially ordered a draft beer, only to find it lacking in carbonation, indicating a lack of proper gas. This necessitated a second order for a bottled beer, which was an inconvenience and disrupted the flow of the meal.

Moving on to the food, the chicken thuppa was particularly unsatisfactory. Upon its arrival, I noticed an excessive amount of oil floating on the surface, which detracted from the overall taste and texture of the dish. The oily residue left a lingering unpleasantness that overshadowed any positive aspects of the meal.

During a holiday trip with two friends of mine we pretty much stumbled across this place by accident and to sum our experience here up: WOW!

Immediately after arriving at the restaurant we noticed the enourmously welcoming and attentive staff here. The people working here are supernice and the service is simply perfect!

The restaurants ambient is basic, but nice and tidy. We always felt great here and the Nepalese music videos adds up to the nice atmosphere.

Then there was the food. Brace yourself for some superlatives: The quality is mindblowing!

We had several starters (e.g. Pakora, Samosa and the two Aloo dishes) and all of them have been superb! From the main dishes - which were also great - the vegetable curry also stood out.

Then we had the vegetarian Biryani: The spicing of this was out of this world. It was like having a new nuance of awesome taste with every single fork. All of us three agreed that this was nothing short of on of the best meals we ever had.

As all of us are vegetarian or even vegan I can only speak about meatless dishes, but it's safe to assume that also the options with meat will be equally astonishing.
