The food here is incredible! It's tough to find authentic German food in the states, so I was skeptical of finding something in Lisbon, but I must say, Kaffeehaus does a great job! Although it's primarily a daytime cafe with lots of coffee and snack options, you can definitely have a substantial dinner here. With multiple schnitzel options, sausage, German beers, and lots of desserts to choose from, I'll have to make some return visits to try it all! The standard pork schnitzel was delicious and the Käsekrainer was one of the best I've had in a long time. Everything was seasoned beautifully and fried so it was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. The only thing that disappointed us a bit was the service, which could have been a little friendlier or more helpful, but I'll chalk that up to a rough day. Otherwise, great spot to sip a coffee or down an Austrian beer. Prost!

This coffee house is a true gem! Whether it’s a perfectly poured Gemischtes or a crisp lager – the beer is simply outstanding. The service is always friendly, professional, and attentive, with the owners putting their full heart and soul into everything they do. The food is excellent: the schnitzel is perfection, and the currywurst is outstanding. Every dish shows an incredible attention to detail and a strong focus on creating a complete and harmonious concept. The desserts are truly a poem, and the tradition of coffee house culture is wonderfully preserved here. It is a real joy to find such a culinary ambassador abroad – a place that combines authenticity, quality, and passion in every aspect. Highly recommended! Best Wishes and thank you.

Had lunch at Kaffeehaus and went for the schnitzel, which turned out to be excellent - crispy on the outside, tender inside, and cooked perfectly. It really felt like the star of the meal. The sides, though, were less impressive. The salad and potatoes with mayo and onion didn’t add much flavor, and honestly some classic French fries would have made the dish feel more complete. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, with a cozy and casual vibe that makes it a comfortable place to sit down for a meal. Service was friendly and attentive, which added positively to the experience. Overall, a good spot in Lisbon if you’re in the mood for a proper schnitzel, even if the sides could be improved.

Hidden gem alert! Kaffeehaus is an authentic Austrian oasis right in the heart of Lisbon that completely exceeded our expectations. While surrounded by incredible Portuguese dining options, this place manages to stand out with its genuine Austrian atmosphere and wonderfully laid-back vibe.

The food is absolutely amazing - you can taste the authenticity in every dish. The beer deserves special mention too, as it's specially crafted for the restaurant and perfectly complements the Austrian cuisine.

But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Konrad, hands down one of the coolest and most welcoming host we've ever encountered. His warmth, excitement, and incredible generosity turned what could have been just another drink into one of our most memorable nights in Lisbon. You can feel his passion for creating an exceptional experience for every guest.

If you're looking for something different from the typical Lisbon dining scene, or if you're craving authentic Austrian flavors, Kaffeehaus is an absolute must-visit. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Lisbon!

Highly recommended for anyone seeking great food, excellent drinks, and genuine hospitality in a relaxed,...
