We went to bring back a gift we had gotten for someone till we realized they had it already so we brought it back. We spoke English to her first because it is easier for me seeing I’m not too good at speaking only listening my mom being from here is great at speaking. The lady didn’t know this and picked to turn to her co-worker and rudely say she didn’t get why we would stupidly buy something then bring it back the next day (this was the girl that sold it to us as well.) when talked to her in Portuguese she then knew she messed up but did not say sorry or anything till we asked to speak to her manager. The women then turned said they were not in and said sorry as well as giving us a free bag and sample but this was not until we wanted to speak to a manager about this very rude action and the sorry should have come before asking for a manager.
